I love the fall vibe :)  I like a brownish palette and I'd like to see you do something like that again, but maybe vary the saturation to call attention to certain things. Thanks for taking my comment to heart - I try to make comments that critique the things I really like, if that makes sense.

The minigame does help to break up the monotony of reading through the text - I think that came across very well!

Yeah! I made my comments with the future of this story/characters in mind, so I hope you don't mind that. I totally understand how it must be to struggle between making a personality for the main character vs. giving the person playing some choice. I can't wait to see how you navigate that going forward.

I liked the little gameplay puzzle that I experienced. Also, I found the kid's storyline to be compelling!

Wow, it's awesome that you got voice actors! I felt that the amount of acting was just perfect, and the performances were good. The music you chose was cool, too!

I laughed out loud, but also felt sad in the end? Really fun game, and I absolutely loved the narrative and comedic timing (great use of the "rule of threes" with the "push him" choices).

Speaking of the choices, I love how they were shaped like shark mouths?! Um?! Very stylish!

The ending was especially sweet - I loved the sound effect at the credits, and the little epilogue. The ending was a good payoff.

The music fit in well with the vibes, and I loved when the vocals came in - it was a nice touch! I did get a little tired of the same 4 chords over again.

Was there romantic tension between the two lead characters? If it wasn't just me reading subtext into it, it was nicely done. I really liked the characterization of both of them.

Oh yeah, and the opening was very fun. You somehow managed to make a visual novel feel cinematic!

I love the sad tone of this game, and the concept. It was actually pretty neat seeing the ghosts appear and disappear throughout the day. I was intrigued by the story and ended up trying to get all the endings! The ending I got first made me laugh 'cause it happened so fast. I enjoyed that.

I loved the contemplative musical track, but it didn't repeat for me, sadly!

I liked the variety of characters - I really wanted to get to know all of them.

I also liked the day-by-day repetitive nature of the game. It made you feel as if you really were a ghost, experiencing the repetitive life of a ghost.

Love  the music!

Also, there is a lot of depth in the story - I can tell that you really fleshed out these characters, and I was intrigued to see where the story would go!

There were a lot of story points where my character would say something and I wished I could have had a hand in it. I did like being able to choose the romantic options, though. (hee)

I liked both the character designs separately but I did feel like it was a little strange to have two such different art styles/shading in the same game. I wonder if you could add some filter/change the lighting or shading on the characters to make it a little more harmonious with itself.

I wonder...would you be able to choose to date the male vs female character? It kinda seems like you should! Good luck on making the final game.

The daikon is so precious I want to take it home!

I like the music a lot! I also like how the endings stack up so that you can see what you've done through the title splash page. The dialogue is also very sweet.

Other people have mentioned this, but it's very difficult to find out what to click on in the forest. I almost didn't play the game at all (which would have been a shame) because I thought it had glitched out. Maybe make the click boxes a little bigger for the critters in the forest?

I like the music, and the story is pretty sweet. Also, the gameplay portion where you have to collect acorns is hilariously charming.

The brown color pallet is a little overwhelming at times - I do like how the characters go into sillouette when they are thinking inner thoughts. I think for the future, you can have less dialogue that shakes the screen -- the effect was a little overused.

It's cool that you coded this up in Python! I want to try that, too!

Really fun and funny. I love the robot character to death, and I would play a full game with him. I also enjoyed the couples' dialogue where they lowkey complain about eachother. If that isn't love, idk what is. The pile of cell phones also made me laugh.

The music really matched the theme, and I didn't mind the repeats.

I ran into a glitch where I couldn't progress, sadly...I wasn't able to finish the game. Also, the movement of the main character glitched out like crazy and sometimes I found myself stuck in a wall for several seconds, but tbh it didn't really hinder my experience, which was overall positive due to the charm of the characters and freshness of the concept.

The game really matched the vibe of a dating sim, right down to the color of the textbox.

That being said, I think the story was a little cliche'd. The art looked very polished, especially the background for the classroom. One thing I would suggest is to vary the bodies and heights on the girls ... they all looked like the exact same girl but with a different wig. It's easier to get attached to a character when they are a little more distinctive.

Oh no, oh no!! This game made me feel sad!! I really didn't see the end coming. Also the vibe made me really nostalgic for college a million years ago.

I like the logic/humor/empathy mechanic - it made me want to play the game more than once.

Also the candy around the dialogue box and the screentone mesh pattern was very cute. I appreciated the design choice that reminded me that Halloween isn't just about spooky ghosts, it's about candy!

I really enjoyed the short story - it was engaging in that it didn't give too much away, and made you guess. The radio tuning concept was also very fun and cool!

I also very much enjoyed the creepy suggestive art.

I was actually pretty scared, having got a brutal bad ending! Well done making a visual novel that made me feel creeped out!

Anyway, I really enjoyed the game and was most impressed by how polished it was. The story was full and contained, the characters were interesting (shall I say....fleshed out, pun intended?), and, biggest for me that despite the staggering amount of dialogue and narration .... THERE WERE NO TYPOS OR SPELLING ERRORS???  This could be a first for a VN!

Also I think the music worked really well to set the mood.

I too had to look up how to make a martini, but honestly it made me kind of nostalgic for the more draconian gaming of yesteryear. If you leaned more into the "hey, just google it" aspect of the game, it might actually be kind of cool, like a shtick. I think that having to go and learn something real for your game provided a unique experience.

One thought: I kind of wish there was a lil pouring animation to go along with the mixology minigame. Like, if you hover a bottle over the mixing bowl, you get to see it tip over (just a rotate animation) indicating you are about to add something.

About the sound: some of it is a little loud. But I really liked all the little sounds of mixing the drinks! Can you put in that cool sound that corks make coming out of wine bottles? That'd be peak ASMR. Also I really enjoyed Frankie's "MMMMMMM!!!!!" sound. I found it humorous. :)

I hope to play the extended version of this in the future. I felt like I got a chance to like these characters, but with a little more time I could really fall in love with them!
