Lost Island: After the Shipwreck

https://ihoryupoland-bit.itch.io/lost-island

Hi all,

I just published a small game and wanted to tell you what it actually is, not only that “it’s out.”

This is my first game. I first wrote it in Pencil Code, then ported it to HTML, CSS and JavaScript so it could run in the browser on itch.

Lost Island: After the Shipwreck is a point-and-click survival text quest. You play in the browser, no download, free. Russian and English.

You wake up on a ship that has hit a reef. The crew is gone. There’s land in the distance, and the water is not friendly. If you make it to the island, you walk the beach and the jungle, pick up what you can, and try to stay alive long enough to leave.

It’s not an open world. You read, choose a button, see a new scene. Inventory sits on the side: vines, coconuts, firewood, an axe if you manage to craft one. You can build a fire, a coconut bowl, a raft, even a shelter if you gather enough. Some choices are practical. Some are stupid on purpose and will get you killed in one click — that’s part of the tone.

A full run is about 20–30 minutes. There is more than one way to mess it up, and a way home if you pay attention.

I’d be glad if you tried it and said what felt slow, unclear, or fun.

Thanks for reading.
