On this matter specifically not yet that i ve seen, on the japan end Visa has doubled down and government there started to seek a way to punish visa for censoring media.

Honestly coward aproach, then again not compiling will mean the page closing prob for good so not like you could do anything else without risking all, while i hate your desition into complying i can see why you did and you are not the ones to blame... i hate their "holy crusade " i wish Itch io will eventually find a way to unleash themselves as for me closing all paypal accounts even if it means not beinga ble to support people directly.

Any Censorship even if "aceptable" at first will lead to full lost of rights given enough time. Its easier to lose a right rather to regain it so any mile we give will takes ages to be recovered.
How do you fight with the ones that control your way or living, manage your income and pretty much your life... sadly Itch is as much as a victim as we do on the big scheme of things...
Today might be that disgusting R18 material with some serious bussiness going on... tomorrow could be your all ages game, just cos you touched a sensitive topic they didn't wanted to be touched or because the dev commited the audacity to have an opinion in a matter and shown support to a topic conflicting their interest not even something legaly wrong... what are the guarantees on the holy crusade for enforcing morals or values will stop on just addresing the truly "problematic stuff" ? or will it slowly but steadly flow into things that are problematic for their "holy" and "rightful" view?
Honestly is sad but how you fight whom owns your life ? I cannot blame itch to let them walk over it... but i can't bring myself to support anyone that promotes censhoship or any kind even if if feels "nesesary" for them so i dont want to comply, i won't make purchase anymore using those payment procesors and i will close my accounts related to them then again im no one and i can and most likely i will be ignored... still i cannot bring myself to condone such acts, hope someday world goes back to where it was as the world today sickenss me beyond what i can tolerate sadly not just on this topic.
As for Itch Io hope devs can find another platform where you can actually publish freely to support them there, not even steam is safe anymore, a friend of mine would have like to submit a game here in a year or so, It wont now given this change, its game wasnt even nsfw just as me, cannot bring itself to tolarete those acts...
