This is technically my second project I'm attempting to make through renpy, with the other still on the way. My team and I have been hit a little hard with various life things, but despite that we're all having a lot of fun and we're well on track to finishing ahead of the jam's deadline!

It's mostly just that I decided I wanted to do the art myself, I'd rather not discuss it more than that admittedly!

I'm Citrine! If you've been going to MFF since 2023 or have gone to AC of 2024, you might recognize me as one of the speakers of the official hypnofur panels! I've been creating a hypno-kink RPG called Perfect Home for over three years now, though I've been working on all sorts of games for the longest time. I do a lot of NSFW projects in general, though the primary focus in many of them is hypnosis...

So imagine my surprise to find out the theme of the very first Strawberry Jam I wanted to join! I've practiced hypnosis for about three or four years now amongst good friends, so I know both how to write it and how it's practiced/what folks want out of it. Although I already more or less have a team (besides a musician, though I love meeting writers and artists too!), I'd be really happy to meet some other game devs and talk shop! Maybe I can give some feedback, ideas, or general insight on what folks like/expect out of hypnosis? If you have any questions about it, let me know!

I'll keep that in mind! I definitely want to add more to the dreamcatcher scenes, it's just a tiny bit of a hassle. I'll take care of it sooner or later though!

Changing their gender is in the current patreon version of the game and will be publicly available at the beginning of next month!

Playing from so many versions back can mess things up sometimes I'm afraid! An immediate solution would be to make a genderswap potion and use it on the cleric.

This would not work due to how the game is coded! I can't really offer advice or take a bug report seriously if someone's messing around with their files like that, since you might've just bungled something on your end, which sounds like what happened here. The patreon-exclusive versions of each update might be a more reliable way of cheating the game, given it includes a debug room for this exact purpose!

It's a lot of fun, actually! It's just a lot of work when a new update drops and I get a little burned out/forgetful all in that one busy day.

Juliet like Romeo & Juliet! And Citrine going female would require me to essentially rewrite the entire game, so, probably not for a very long time if ever.

Hey! So I mention in the FAQ that issues with the controls usually have something to do with software related to controllers and such, like Dolphin. Closing out of that software or unplugging any controllers you're using should hopefully fix the issue. This is an isolated issue so far, so I am assuming it might be a problem on your end. I hope that's a little helpful!

The bat is a character that will be added in the future and the dungeons will be expanded on eventually! There's a lot I want to add but the game is ultimately a work in progress.

I have thought about this! I'd really enjoy adding a mode where Citrine is a girl straight-up, it'd just require me to, effectively, completely remake a lot of game. It'd take a huge investment of time that I just can't justify right away... but it's on the horizon! I'll think about adding this as a compromise for now, perhaps!

Hi! I'm actually planning on adding gender-related content really soon! You might see it on the patreon some time mid-November, even. It's still going to be pretty heavily m/m and m/f for a while, but I think it'd be fun to include some options for a female version of Citrine too!

Sorry for the wait, but there aren't many! Yet. I'd really like to add in more scenes that are altered by what you're wearing or what stats you've got in the future, but it'd take a lot more work. One day though! <3

Thank you for taking the time to write up so much feedback! There's a better way to skip text mentioned in the read me and the control scheme listed here on the itchio page, but that's more a fault of mine-- I keep meaning to explain the controls in-game somehow and it continuously slips my mind. The constant battle of upkeeping the house will be alleviated through different options as you play the game-- new mechanics and means of maintaining stats through the estate are planned to help with that, with one example being the milking shed. The game is still in its early stages, though, so a lot of those mechanics aren't incorporated!

I hope this gives you some insight on what I have planned for addressing those problems, and I'm glad you're enjoying the game so much in spite of 'em! <3

Yeah that's a good point, I guess it slipped my mind! I already listed the major fetishes of the game, though, and provide a firmer warning in the beginning of the game itself, so I don't think you'll be spooked by anything TOO out there. I'll give the game a hard think and adjust the warnings appropriately! Thanks for the feedback.

No idea! Nobody else has had that issue so far insofar as I can tell, though I do know that sometimes people's antivirus gets weird about it sometimes. Something to do with this being made in an engine from 2003, I guess? Sorry for the scare!

I have ideas for it, yes! I'm glad you enjoyed. Even though I've hit 1.0 on the patreon, I don't plan on slowing down in the game's development for a real long time! Sorry for any minor bugs, I've made a patch for the 1.0 version already!

The RNG around events was admittedly an oversight I didn't know how to resolve until a week or two ago-- I plan on coming up with a good solution pretty soon, likely as early as the update after the next! I'll also consider shortening end of day events or at least do something to make 'em a little more unique/interesting. Hope you continue to enjoy it as I continue to figure out what works best! c:

Hello! This game is still in development, and several mechanics and story threads are currently not available. You can find Julian through an event in the Work area, which would eventually unlock the circus! Hope this helps.

I just ran through the game to double-check! I think that might be a save compatibility issue-- you might be using a save where you tamed the rogue from a version where that bug was still a thing, so it'll still cause problems! I can come up with a fix, but it'll probably be a hot minute-- I'd recommend just restarting! Apologies for the inconvenience!

Thank you for bringing up the bug! Recently a different bug came to light around adding characters to your party that I fixed, but in doing so caused this issue whenever a character becomes busy. I've patched it out now and it SHOULD be fine in the current download for 0.3.3 (though I'd recommend using a save where the issue hasn't come up yet)-- apologies for the inconvenience, and I'm glad you're enjoying all there is to see!

They're a bit of an outdated feature, after the very first version of the game! I'd recommend just selling 'em, they currently don't have a use!

You can change costumes for Citrine from the wardrobe, though you can't customize the outfits of your pets (yet)!
