Fun little game! The details are great!

Very fun little game! Cool idea and great execution, love it!

Thanks so much for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I was using Chrome on MacOS. It would freeze everything up so I'd have to restart the whole browser. I had no issues with the Windows version.

I had this problem too! Keen to come back and play when it's fixed :)

Yusss, I found it. So good! I am such an important bureaucrat! I look forward to my promotion in 9.75 years!

I wasn't able to get past the first screen in the browser because it kept freezing, but I was having enough fun to download the Windows version! Lovely little game, I enjoyed it a lot. I would definitely play more!

Very fun little game with a great mechanic.

One suggestion - I was perplexed for a long time because it turns out I had all the answers correct, but when I clicked "guess" it only confirmed the first 3. I had to re-click to confirm the other 3. I would expect it to confirm all 6 at once if they were all correct, so I was hunting around for ages trying to figure out what I'd got wrong.

Lovely game, what a cool theme!

I had so much fun playing this, but I can't find the final transgression! Braxton is evading justice!

You've got some unique mechanics in this game, and I think it's so cool that you took a risk and developed something new - that's the best outcome of a game jam game imo! I'd definitely buy a developed version game on Steam!

Wow this is SUCH a good idea! Thank you so much for documenting the steps so clearly, I'm going to give it a try. I love the slides format for a prototype like this, it was so fast to throw together and edit, so I think I'll use it again for testing small ideas. It will be a huge improvement to be able to integrate it into the page like this. You're a legend 🤩

Really enjoyed this! I liked the mechanics of having the assistants and choosing what they did each day, that was awesome.  All my nitpicks are very much explained by it being a game jam with limited time but I'll list them in case the feedback is useful e.g. you want to expand on it.

  • The H key didn't work for me to show interactable things, so I did a lot of pixel hunting
  • I found some of the clues quite arbitrary in terms of what they should be matched with, often I would expect it should match with the person rather than the place, rather than vice versa. Many of them I had to brute force to some extent, and some I never figured out why they matched (e.g. the clue about the diner owner going for a walk in the evening). The key seemed like it should match with the B.D. shop, I was perplexed about that. The combo to the safe made no sense to me, surely that number was just a timestamp?
  • I would love to be able to drag the clues on the desk around and for them to stay where I put them
  • I had to read other comments before I realised you could scroll on the phone - I had tried dragging the screen but it didn't occur to me to use scroll wheel! Even putting that in the controls wouldn't have been helpful to me, as I didn't read the controls because the other things were intuitive

I loved this! The "story" around the puzzle is funny and smart.

Very cute, I enjoyed this a lot. I loved how you managed to make the clues obscure enough that when I first looked through everything in the attic I thought "I'm never going to solve this!" but in the end I was certain about each of my answers and didn't have to guess. It really rewards paying close attention and thinking a bit laterally. The art style is adorable and so cozy!

Very nice game, I really liked how the quality and quantity of your deductions changed the ending! I had fun playing with that after I'd finished.

Thanks so much!

That's so nice to hear, thank you!

Thanks so much for playing, and for your lovely comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'll definitely check it your game too 🙂

So glad you enjoyed it, thank you for playing!

Thank you!! I'm definitely considering expanding it! I have indeed played Strange Horticulture, I loved it 😊 great recommendation

Thank you so much!

Thanks so much :)

You are correct! There are also a couple of other options for getting one of those pieces of information :)

Thanks so much for playing!

Thank you so much!
