A simple concept but executed beautifully with gorgeous art and music

Cool idea with the different disks for different inputs, but eventhough I read the controls at the beginning it was so hard to match the keys to the disks. A little more visual feedback or controls directly on the screen might help as well as a small hint when a disk will disappear/appear. Otherwise great game!
Love to play other peoples rhythm game entries as we also developed a rhythm game, but as platform crossover :D

Really relaxing, like the concept and the music very much! Maybe it could get faster over time or there could be some other additional challenges the farther you get along in the game.
Love to see other peoples rhythm games for this Jam, as we also developed a rhythm game, but as a platformer crossover :D

It is fun that you can randomize the inputs, but I would like it more if it were new inputs each round, because it got repetitive after a few rounds. Also it starts super slow, which actually made the beginning kind of difficult ^^.
I like to see other takes on a loop rhythm game though, because we also developed a rhythm game, but with platformer crossover. :)

Sad that it did not turn out the way you wanted, but this is a great start! Keep practizing cause we all would love to play your game in the next Jam :D

Really cool to see other people also implementing a rhythm platformer like us :D I love the different rhythms and the colorful artwork. I was a little annoyed though that I could fall back to an earlier flag checkpoint and lose my progress.

Really cool concept! I love how simple it is but how much you can do with just a few blocks like these. At one point I could not continue the tutorial though, because I missed what I needed to do and could not go back in the dialog.

I love to see other takes on interpreting the loop concept as a rhythm game, as we also went in that direction with our game :)

Very relaxing vibes with a neat concept to boot!

The presentation gives me real Animal Well vibes, very nice! Very fun and difficult game. Sometimes the controls felt a little bit unresponsive or slippery.

An interesting concept executed very well! I can see a lot of puzzles being made with this idea in the future

Art, music and gameplay are all great!

What a fun idea, and good execution :) very unique setting for a game like this

Very cool puzzle game, sad about the bugs but the levels were all good and the last one was difficult with a cool trick to figure out

Very cool game, I enjoyed it a lot! My highscore and airtime goes up even when dead so I'm up to Wave 80 by now :D

Every new track I think "surely the song is done now, it sounds great" and then it keeps improving

why must you deny him the lööps he desires?

Hey, thanks! It's pretty simple. Every time the player moves inside of a control zone, the following happens: the input direction is saved in an Array and the game checks if the player is still in the zone. If yes, it waits for a new input. If the player leaves the zone, movement inputs are disabled and the game instead cycles through the directions saved in the Array until the player enters a new control zone. If you're interested in a more detailed explanation, you could also join our discord server to reach us (I don't check itch that often - sorry!)

Yes, all the sounds were made by me ^^ I actually did say "wshh" and "pkronk" into my microphone. The piano sounds are also from my actual piano (which is why they sound a bit crunchy)

you can refresh by pressing R  or clicking the refresh button to the right

haha, thank you ^^

hey, glad you liked our game :D. We wanted to implement a speed up function to move the character quicker rather than a restart but sadly didn’t have the time. As for the audio panning, it bugs me too! I only noticed after the deadline that it’s a default setting I had to turn off.

This is really fun! Great  job.

Interesting and fun idea. Featback feels good with animations and sounds. I like it :D

I know the feel, our game has barely any sounds. I think some chill music in the background would have been great. A weekend is just not enougth time to do everything xD

Super cute, super fun. Some soundeffects would have been nice, other that that really polished game

It's so pretty!

really nice idea and art! i think it is a little hard. even in a level where i had nothing but pits to fear i would have failed at least once. here are some changes that would make that an excellent game:

- a few introductory levels
- some sound (espcially an additional warning, when the buttons change)
- maybe a visual timer like a line going around the buttons to better indicate when they switch

overall i am a big fan though!
