A simple concept but executed beautifully with gorgeous art and music

Cool idea with the different disks for different inputs, but eventhough I read the controls at the beginning it was so hard to match the keys to the disks. A little more visual feedback or controls directly on the screen might help as well as a small hint when a disk will disappear/appear. Otherwise great game!
Love to play other peoples rhythm game entries as we also developed a rhythm game, but as platform crossover :D
Really relaxing, like the concept and the music very much! Maybe it could get faster over time or there could be some other additional challenges the farther you get along in the game.
Love to see other peoples rhythm games for this Jam, as we also developed a rhythm game, but as a platformer crossover :D
It is fun that you can randomize the inputs, but I would like it more if it were new inputs each round, because it got repetitive after a few rounds. Also it starts super slow, which actually made the beginning kind of difficult ^^.
I like to see other takes on a loop rhythm game though, because we also developed a rhythm game, but with platformer crossover. :)
Really cool concept! I love how simple it is but how much you can do with just a few blocks like these. At one point I could not continue the tutorial though, because I missed what I needed to do and could not go back in the dialog.
I love to see other takes on interpreting the loop concept as a rhythm game, as we also went in that direction with our game :)
Hey, thanks! It's pretty simple. Every time the player moves inside of a control zone, the following happens: the input direction is saved in an Array and the game checks if the player is still in the zone. If yes, it waits for a new input. If the player leaves the zone, movement inputs are disabled and the game instead cycles through the directions saved in the Array until the player enters a new control zone. really nice idea and art! i think it is a little hard. even in a level where i had nothing but pits to fear i would have failed at least once. here are some changes that would make that an excellent game:
- a few introductory levels
- some sound (espcially an additional warning, when the buttons change)
- maybe a visual timer like a line going around the buttons to better indicate when they switch
overall i am a big fan though!
