This game is really good! The visuals and audio work really well to set the atmosphere, and the subtle foreshadowing makes it even better on replay. Some of the minigames feel a little odd, especially the cooking minigame, but that's the only issue with the game I can think of (even then, it's a very minor issue). The part where Canary asks about the bird's eyes also reminded me a bit of In Stars and Time, though I don't know if that was just a coincidence.

Took a little while, but rated! Final boss brought back some painful Hollow Knight memories (in a good way).

Very tough game, I liked the level-based parts especially. Beating it cost me 200+ deaths (there was a lot of fooling around) and a sore arm, but well worth it!

Glad you like them! I designed the main character to mostly resemble a bat, just with some exaggerated features and proportions. I did consider making them more cat-like at first, though, so that's probably where the slight cat vibe comes from.
