Thanks! I certainly spent a lot of time trying to make those graphics effects work smoothly. Happy you enjoyed it!

The sound effects were kind of a last minute addition to get working properly if I'm being honest :)
I had never done adlib programming before, or really even any kind of sound engine for a DOS game so that's what I was able to figure out in an evening one day before the submission lol
I'll for sure want to continue with this game in the future when I have more time. I'm proud of what I made so far, but my vision was a lot bigger than what I ended up with by the time the deadline rolled around.
Cool game, I'm a big fan of the music in this, and the assortment of little creatures is very fun.
Unfortunately my brain just couldn't wrap around the controls under pressure. I feel like this would work really well with a joystick, by my brain kept trying to resort back to relative movement controls on the keyboard when trying to grab or whack the little guys.
This game is loads of fun, especially in the zoomed out view it's very fun zipping around the map at high speed collecting the rings, if only a little difficult to figure out which way you're facing after bouncing off a wall. :)
The graphic style is very unique, and the background music is super catchy. Excellent job!
Cool game! The Asteroid-style wire-frame graphics were a neat design decision. One thing I really kept wishing for was the ability to turn the ship faster, but overall the gameplay is quite fun!
The sound effect you designed for the ship explosion also tickled my brain a little. It's such a satisfying sound when you blow up an enemy :)
This is a really neat demo! Would absolutely love to play a whole game based off this concept.
The renders are super well done and atmospheric, and the layout really brings out the curiosity wanting to know more about the place and that exactly happened there.
I had trouble getting the sound to work until today. Doesn't seem to initialize the OPL at all on normal DOSBox. I was finally able to hear the music today when I tried it on DOSBox-X.
