Very interesting concept for me. It's something I'd imagine a rougelite racing could be. Certain upgrades, challenges with offsetting upgrades and such populating the track. Considering this being a game jam, I understand it wasn't balanced well enough since it was a bit too easy but I can this concept something worth exploring more. Great Job, it was quite refreshing. Also, it would've been great to have some music.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thank you for playing. I hope it was worth your time to try it out!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to look into optimization. Thank you for trying though!

I got softlocked in room 10 as well. I agree that it could be a bit more fast paced but overall I did somewhat enjoy it.

Concept felt quite in line with the theme not in a very obvious way, in a good way. It's a little difficult at the moment for me though. There's a bug that causes the game to restart the match up UI to pop up and prevent the game sequence to move on to the battle if i press spacebar. Also, since the initial power up buttons are the same as the skills for the vortex, if i have a dash skill(Q button), it usually causes my vortex to rush forward as soon as the game starts and fly out of the arena. I like the concept though, nice.

Cute game. I think you made a good choice of music with the style of the game. I like the character too. I think it could have used some challenges on the upperside of the slide though. I found that you can basically exploit that space to be safe from any obstacles. I really did like that 360 when you fill up the gauge XD

Tried the game before rating was open. Came back to rate it. It as memorable.

Interesting game. Felt like a breath of fresh air compared to most other games. You managed to create a great vibe. Playing it made me feel some emotions I forgot I had for a long time.

The zoomiplosion was a nice twist. Didn't expect that lol. Great job.

Thank you!

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the interest! I sure hope I learn to optimize better in the future.

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Good to hear you had fun. Thank you for playing. I did think I may have had to add a bit more guide on the lasers but hoped it was the part of the fun to figure it out. I'm glad you got to experience that.

Thank you for playing. And yeeeess there's no argument on the lazers being too blazing bright and not refined LOL.

Thank you. I'm glad you had fun!

Very soothing. The concept of growing big isn't out of the ordinary but the scene it takes place in was something I had never really thought about. Great work.

Thank you for playing! Yes, it started out with X Y axis according a global coordinate but I wanted to mix it up so it wasn't too easy and obvious. Trying to rattle up that player perspective so it requires some thinking haha. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Good job on your first game! Not sure if you are aware, but you designed a gameplay loop that's applying "rubber banding". Something that you'll often find in party games created by Nintendo such as Mario Kart. It should help your game accomodate fun experience for players of different skill levels. I'd imagine reducing the handicap of the winning player a little bit and maybe add some random mechanics would add a more polished feeling to the game. Great work! I like how you designed your page too!

I definitely did not put enough effort on optimization and focused on creating a somewhat solid ground for the game. I'm happy to hear it intrigued your interest. Thank you!

Good job on your first game jam! May this be another step for more exciting game development for you!

Great job! I can see good potential in this.

I'm sorry that happened. It definitely was not optimized much, apart from reducing the game size itself. I still need a lot more to learn in that field. Thank you for playing!

Yes, I had to put off some edge cases like what you experienced that I thought didn't really break the game to an unplayable state. Thank you for playing! I think it would've been fun to make a few more levels and new mechanics too if time permitted.

Thank you for playing!

I agree, teaching the mechanics in a more streamlined fashion would have been much better. Thank you for playing.!

Games are meant to bring joy and fun. You achieved it. Great job I had a good laugh and fun with the game. Love the ending lol. You really got me hooked with the game concept.

I liked the quirky atmosphere, with the voice and setup! Great stuff!

Thank you for playing my game!
