Amazing visuals and really love seeing a digitized beyblade, super neat!

Submitted(+1)

Fun beyblade kind of game. I really loved the visuals in this game & the gameplay was fun after I got hang of it. Would have liked a tutorial.

i love the art! I forgot about beyblade, i'm gonna have to go find my old ones now, this was super fun!

Submitted(+1)

cool entry, can you control your beyblade ?

Developer

Thanks! With Q, W, and E on your keyboard you can use the attacks on your vortex!

Art LOOKS amazing! I would prefer a webGLversion tough

Developer(+1)

Thanks!! That means a lot!! Our art was important to us.

We didn’t make it WebGL because it’s a 3D game and it might be too heavy for some people’s browsers. We wanted to make sure everyone would play it at its full capacity.

The visuals are really good and playing around with the different abilities was fun. I found a bug where if you press the spacebar you start multiple games in parallel which probably isn't the idea, but that aside fun game with really good art.

I’m glad you like the different abilities!! It was hard to come up with fun and fair ones haha. I’ll fix that spacebar issue.

This was a lot of fun, it took me a little bit to understand what was happening with the visuals and the mechanics, because my first few battels were over almost instantly without me pressing anything, but  once i got used to it, some neat gameplay. i lvoe the bayblades theme, would definitely play this if it was multiplayer with ranked

Concept felt quite in line with the theme not in a very obvious way, in a good way. It's a little difficult at the moment for me though. There's a bug that causes the game to restart the match up UI to pop up and prevent the game sequence to move on to the battle if i press spacebar. Also, since the initial power up buttons are the same as the skills for the vortex, if i have a dash skill(Q button), it usually causes my vortex to rush forward as soon as the game starts and fly out of the arena. I like the concept though, nice.

Developer

That’s amazing feedback thanks so much! We were worried it might have been too much of an abstraction from the theme hahah.

As for the spacebar issue, I think that might be a debug button still active, I’ll look into it when I have time.

As for the Q and W issue, I think we wanted to find a solution for that(maybe delaying the player input half a second after the initial boost). But we ended up enjoying the tight space between launch and inputs for some more skill involved in the start.

Somewhat epic.

Cool little game! The color contrast between the environment and the vortexes, as well as the music, create a unique vibe. Although there were some enemies launching themselves off the arena as soon as the match start, I still enjoy the game overall!

Looks like a really cool game but it keeps crashing for me :(

Developer

I’m so sorry to hear that! At what point does it crash?

Submitted(+1)

After the character customization when i press start it plays an animation and then crashes before the gameplay starts. Might be a problem on my side tho since im opening it with proton

Very fun little game ! It feels very polished.
