Whoa these are rad! Love your take on Cuphead.

Oh the new Asterix game is also cool! Love those tiny little LCD form factors.

Caveman is so charming. There's an entire saga of survival playing out with those little VFD guys. Great work as always. 🥚

You're a madman. This is a mode I never even considered for these LCD handhelds, but it's very cool.

The games have all been working great! I tried docked mode and handheld, all the games performed perfectly.

Ooh yeah! I'm gonna fire up the collection on Steam Deck and give it a go.

Yep the button issue is fixed and all of the changes in this update are a nice improvement.

Hey I tried this out on Asus Zenfone 9, Android 13, Firefox 114.20 and Chrome 114.0.5735.147.

It worked pretty well but there was one issue on Firefox: tapping the left and right buttons quickly and repeatedly eventually leads one button or both to get stuck and will not accept input. It occurs every time I reload. I could not reproduce the issue in Chrome.

Oh interesting thought. I gave it a shot on my Series S and it looks like it's got issues with the graphics driver.

I think your previous setup for PS4 was good. In the new setup, in order to map the buttons so the B button is on the left and A button is on the right (to match the game), I had to remap like this:

Ah nice, yep I see the changes.

Here are those numbers:

PS4

  • Cross: 0
  • Circle: 1
  • Square: 2
  • Triangle: 3

Xbox

  • A: 0
  • B: 1
  • X: 2
  • Y: 3

It seems to be working, but I did have to remap some buttons with a Series X and PS4 gamepad. This is in Chrome Version 114.0.5735.111 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Default:

Remapped to use D-pad and map Action B to Xbox A/PS4 Cross and Action A to Xbox B/PS4 Circle:

Series X gamepad:

PS4 gamepad:

I loved it. We need more 3D platformers about hopping around on giant food. Excellent work all around.

Oh and it looks like it's other games as well. Here's Las Vegas.

Hey, great work on this one!

The only thing I noticed is that the player can't click the far left button due to the overlay prompt when at the middle zoom level. Here's a screenshot.

Hah I'm not alone with the sound! The game's speaker is so tiny and yet so powerful.

"Capitalism is the true horror" is my favorite new genre.

Loved the game, hope to see more!

A game about the scariest thing of all: house maintenance 😱

I loved it!

Your work with bringing so many classic games into the present is remarkable. I'm always delighted to visit your page and find new games to check out!

Excellent idea, thank you for organizing.

Conversely, I felt the two latter stories were too puzzle-oriented. I wanted to advance the story, not muddle about. So you can't please 'em all. I still loved it all!

Hey there, thanks so much and I'm glad you liked it!

Howdy, I just released my first ebook of Bart vs. My Hopes & Dreams: Looking Back at Thirty Years of Video Games Based on The Simpsons.

It's pay-what-you-want and available in EPUB, MOBI, and PDF formats. It covers all 25 video games in the series so there's tons to learn about if you're into game development and history. Cheers!
