You're totally right- next time I'll make sure the player is the balloon with the knife, LOL. And yeah, originally the sound was like that because I wanted a little dragon to be controlling the fire in the hot air balloon, so the sound would be it blasting the fire upwards, but that never panned out. Thanks for the feedback! :)
I love the concept- the art was nice, and the overall idea is pretty neat. However, I didn't feel incredibly motivated to collect the speed-up things considering I was being *timed*, not measured by distance traveled. So the slower I was, the longer I could survive. However, I do still like the concept. Good job!
Wow, the controls and movement are so satisfying!! I absolutely love this kind of platformer! My only confusion is towards the level building- if you're making complex and fun level designs that can be completed without level building, why did you include it? Don't get me wrong, I loved the mechanic, I was just a bit puzzled by it. I think it's an absolute blast of a game overall- amazing job!
This is a wonderful idea- my only complaint would be how easy it is to cheese the scoring system. I was able to rack up some unbelievably high points by going in circles right next to a large asteroid. But the controls were pretty fun, and flying that close to asteroids was pretty satisfying. Good job!
