Also you currently don't take any damage when you hit a mine in the downloadable version.

loved playing this, the combat is good, the synergizing of different troops was very fun and rewarding. 

The only real critique I have is that the UI is very visually busy. It's beautiful, but any time I was operating a menu (like the Academy or even the settings) I was just rushing to get out of there asap. I was clicking the upper right corner of the windows thinking its an exit button. I think even just a little tweaking in the contrasts of elements could fix this.
