Thank you for this! Using it to get ideas for magic items for my game, Miasma and Monsters!

I will admit a few static encounters would be a good addition but it was still fun!

Congratulations to you and your family!!! No need to apologize, that's a big life change.

It ran well! The party immediately went to the western caves and barely survived fighting all the mushroom men and scaring off the spider. They then went to the pools and lost two characters to the black liquid and the purple berserk pool.

They then went to the main hall where Thom and Oolnor showed up. They ended up trying to originally ask for the correct way to get to the locked door to the north, but through a misunderstanding it lead to the wizard losing his head, Thom going into a rage and nearly killing 3 PCs before being tied up and fed to the acid pit 😂

The party then decided to just leave with all the loot. Such heroism!

I used more of this great art in my new adventure, The Croaking Quagmire

I'm gonna be running this using my system, Miasma and Monsters, this coming Friday at my local game store!

You're welcome, and thank you for the kind words! I kinda went all out with it but I think it paid off.

It's a bummer we didn't have more submissions! It is a good system to write adventures for, I don't have to flip through dozens of pages of rules to look things up.

Not the creator, but I will check this out!

Printing the original version now! Looking forward to updates and new models.

Whoa, thanks! I hope others submit their stuff too!

There doesn't seem to be a messaging system in itch, could you send me an email address I can use to give you a free download of the adventure?

You'll get a free download key when it's ready!

Just gotta wait for the edits and then I can submit the adventure!

Using some of your art in my upcoming adventure, Manor of the Swine Duke!

Love that you used a D8 pool for this! Too many wargames stick to D6s. I have been kicking around with the idea of a D8 based skirmish game in my Miasma and Monsters system, so your game has inspired me to look at it again.

Using your Drunken Berserker in my upcoming adventure, Manor of the Swine Duke!

Sure thing!

WIP cover of my new adventure, cover drawn by my very talented brother in law!

Finally! Keyed all the rooms and about to start formatting. 15 pages!

Ah I see now, thanks!

I'm unfamiliar with Typst. Does this amount to a font file I can use in software like Affinity Publisher?

Just have to key the basement and I can start formatting!

Got the cover art from my brother in law and I think you're gonna really like it!

Also since you like the mutations, check out my game Miasma and Monsters for 50 mutations!

Thank you for the kind words! I've had the idea to do an adventure like this for years, glad the prompt meshed with the idea well.

Bought!

Thanks! I don't mind if I don't get any award, I wanted to make this adventure for a while and the jam gave me a good excuse!

Almost done with the first floor locations!

I do not, I gave out download keys to the judges though.

I don't want to have too much of a preview as the adventure is only 4 A5 pages!

Oh man this adventure is gonna be long! Only detailed about 1/4 of the locations and it's at 5 pages.

Very cool concept and I love the cover!

It sure is! I thought the deadline was August 1st too, so I'm glad to know I have a lot more time.

Very cool! I like how open the prompt is leading to a lot of interpretations.

Mine will be focused on stopping a retired Fighter from extorting towns for protection money. The fighter lord has also become mutated to be very pig like.

Got my maps finished (3 floors of a manor), now on to writing the room keys! This is going to be a longer adventure than I expected!

Sent! Thanks again for running this.

Thank you! I will simply send them to your email.

How should we go about sending download keys to our submission to the judges?

What's the best way to write a review for your system?

I like this system!

  • Layout is really clean
  • You manage a lot of content in a small amount of space, no text feels like filler
  • Your procedures are nice and easy to follow
  • Example town, dungeon, and wilderness sections are great ideas
  • Alternate rules are a nice touch
  • GM advice is great, too!

For the game jam, how do you want us to attribute your system in the text? I notice that you don't have a license, it just says "All rights reserved."

How do we join this? Or do we just download the maps and get started?

Would you want to add a stipulation about not using "AI" generated content for submissions? If it's not there you may get a bunch of junk submitted.
