The animations for the fruits were a delight to see. Really would like to know how it was done

I've made my game in pico-8. When I made my submission, I thought the only way to export my game was as an html file which then could be downloaded and opened by a judge in the browser of their choice in order to play the game. This is the procedure described in the install instructions as of until an hour ago, and it's still there.

I have discovered you can indeed export pico8 cartridges in a way they can be executed as a desktop program. I have updated my listed files to include the windows, linux and osx builds pico8 generated for me. The previous zip file is still there, although I renamed it to reflect it is only playable via an webbrowser.

My only question is is everything ok with this? I don't necessarily feel like I broke any rule, since you could always download the files I offered and play the game through them, but considering there's a security concern with game downloads I feel like I needed to disclose the inclusion of these builds to someone, hence this post here.

I managed to do it somehow, despite being a very late:

Thanks for the late submissions. I couldn't have finished it without that.

I want to toy heavilly with this concept on my game. I'm wondering if that's ok.
It's not like the game is  intended for audiences of a different language.  It's a very deliberate choice, and the parts of the game that do not toy with language that way will be in english either way.

Does it count if I make a skeleton of a different species?

here's mine

Hope you like it!

Really like "think outside the box" games like this, plus it looks very cool. You did a really good job!

Good Job! The art looks very cute and the music sounds very cool. Congrats on finishing it under such tight schedule.
