Thanks so much! And yes, the UI gave me all sorts of trouble at the very end there lol. The cropping I’m not sure about, because I’ve not seen that happening before, but I do appreciate the feedback and thank you for playing!!

I like the idea of a MTG-style card bullet hell. This is nicely polished for a 3-day jam, lots of enemy and character variety. My favorite character is definitely the bomber. The pixel art is nice, too! My only suggestion would be a clear way to see the card character health, like health bars or something. Good luck and happy jamming!
This is a really solid jam submission! The controls are very fun. I'm not sure if you made the art and music, but they fit together really nicely and the art style is perfect for this game. The screen shake is cool! A few things I noticed: The music doesn't loop, which is unfortunate. I picked an explosion card and I think it flung me from the arena, because I got softlocked out of the game after that and the restart button didn't seem to work. Other than that, this is a very polished jam submission and I'm pretty impressed, especially since you say it's the wrong version. Good luck, happy jamming!
I had lots of fun with this one! The limited color pallete in the pixel art and the music really gave it an arcade feel, and the arena theme was well done. The parry button being Q/E was alittle hard to get used to at first, but it added some nice difficulty! I like that the sprites of the enemy show which attack will be used. Best of luck, happy jamming!
The difficulty increase was nicely done. I also love the spritework on the ninja, very dynamic!
I think the spikes from LVL 13 on were placed just a little too close to the spawn, so when you'd die if there was any left over movement, you'd run into the spikes and die once or twice more. Besides that, this was very fun! I was determined despite doing pretty terrible. Best of luck!
This was really cool! I liked the concept a lot, and the interactions with the UFO were fun. My only critique is that the beeping noise gets loud and jarring, I at first thought I was doing something wrong/taking damage at the start there! But that's probably just a me thing. Besides that, the visuals, music, gameplay were so cool and on theme. :) Best of luck in the voting!
Thanks so much for the feedback!! I appreciate your kindness about the art :)
Yes, it’s certainly buggy but I do believe the idea has some potential even if not executed properly. I hope to make a finished version of the game after finishing my programming classes - but for now, I appreciate the feedback and the opportunity I had to work on my own :D
Absolutely ADORABLE art, and I really appreciated the use of the shark fact in the theme!
This game is super hard, lol. I really enjoy bullet hell games so it was cool to see one in this jam! I think I've encountered a bug that the "shoot teeth" option only happens some of the time and takes a long time for it to happen at all - unless that's part of the difficulty? Also, you have to stop to be able to move upwards. Those are my only suggestions on this.
Considering the time constraints and this being your first Godot game, you did very well! Good luck and happy jamming! :D
The art and animation design is just phenomenal. The cutscenes paired with the music were simply fantastic. I've not seen much like it before in this jam, so well done!
As for the gameplay, it was really fun. I was a little confused at one point on how to get out of a room, so an arrow or chat from a candle to show some direction would be very helpful. Great job, and happy jamming!
Watching the horse go at the speed of sound after buying the synthetic oil was the funniest thing I've seen today.
My favorite things about this game were the achievements and the day/night cycle. I also thought the music and pixel art was charming! My only suggestion would be adding some other sort of mechanic, like certain towns holding special items or the visual adding of the shop items (Example, literally giving the horse wings or a monocle) to make the game a little more interesting. But given the time constraints and all, great work and happy jamming!
