This game is super cool! The mechanics are incredibly unique and being able to rewind in a puzzle game was awesome. The visual effects and sound design are great, too. Definitely difficult, but it made me spend lots of time on it. Great job with this one!

The visuals and background layering is super cool on this one! I also noticed a bit of lighting around the main character, very cool. The music was nice too, and the sound design made a great addition to everything. Simple gameplay, but charmingly so and still has a good amount of challenge to it.  Nice work!

The start is exciting, I love the text wobbles/effects and strange dialogue. It definitely helps the strange theme with how odd it all is. I also love how the text continues into the start, following the player... It's so cool and immersive!

Now, as others have said, the game seems unplayable past the first cliff. After pushing the box, not much can be done. I found the one secret passage while stuck, but it didn't help me unfortunately. Either I'm playing wrong, or the jump isn't high enough for the box to be pushed the opposite direction. This concept seems really cool, and with more time I'm sure it would be awesome. Good job on this, good luck, sorry I couldn't beat it.

I love this submission! All of the visuals go together so well, and there's cutscenes and lighting and turn based fighting... Yeah, I really love this game. I never got the parry timing right, unfortunately. Also, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I got soft locked out of the game when fighting the final hooded boss. I attacked, then it attacked, and then the game stopped. The menu disappeared and nothing happened until I exited the game.

But besides that, for a game jam this is very impressive. I love the animations, the dialogue with the old man, and the turn based elements. Great work!

This game is hard! It's pretty fun though, and the music adds so much to the intensity of the game. The premise is fun, and the character art is funny with decent animation. I always love when shooter games have the gun move towards your cursor, it's so charming.
For the gameplay, the health is a bit confusing at times. The number above the character will seem like you have a lot of health, but you're really only one shot away from death. The percentage at the top helped, but it was a bit confusing overall. The enemies are hard, but I like that after a while of shooting you get a window to get them before they lock onto you again. I love the wall slide and wall jumps, it makes the gameplay much smoother.

Overall, great work on this!

I can't believe you made this all from scratch! This is seriously impressive. I loved the writing, it really made the game special and the premise is just perfect for a game. Also, the art style is so unique and cool! The music added to the atmosphere a lot, too. My only complaint is that the controls when it came to interacting (like picking up the saplings annd cutting down trees) was a bit clunky and would take a moment to work, which can be terrible when trying to save every second in a chaotic gameplay loop like this.
Great work, I love seeing fully solo devs in jams and this was super impressive. I hope you keep making games! :)

This is a pretty cool game! Managed to get to the end in 52 seconds.  Love the gravity mechanic, it's stressful in a good way. Reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy. Also, the camera at the beginning is a nice touch. The noises are funny, though the music gets very repetitive. Keep making games! :)

Very charming little game. I like the art style, simple and bouncy. I enjoyed it! :)

This game is impressive for the deadline! I love the beginning story/cutscene, really adds to the overall theme. Headlights acting as a flashlight is super cool, and the sound design makes the atmosphere so creepy! Great work. :)

Which jam? I’d absolutely be interested in joining you guys! :)

This game is awesome. I love the humor of the writing so much, the speaker made me chuckle a few times. The final battle was surprisingly challenging, but fun. Everything can be solved with more fish. Great job, I loved this!

This game is so charming!! I really like it. The beginning cutscene and story is so fun, and the game is pretty challenging as it progresses. The art is cute, the music is good, Great work!

This is cool! No idea how you did that in 98 seconds. The main character art is really nice. Good job!

This game jumpscared me! Twice! Props to you for making a pretty good horror game in just a few days. The story/setting in the beginning is an amazing addition, really immersive. This reminds me of Iron Lung. Great work!

I love the art in this a lot! The game is pretty fun, I enjoyed it. One thing is that I accidentally got the fish stuck above the map and I couldn't continue. That's the only problem I encountered. Great job!

This game is simple and charming. I like it.  Nice work!

This game is so fun! I don't usually see 2-player games in jams so this was cool.
It is a bit funny that the crabs can jump over the net, had the CPU crab invading my crab's space. Nice job!

I'm really impressed by how scary this game managed to be with such a simplistic style. I was genuinely feeling nervous while going down the long passageways. Limited eyesight does a lot to add to atmosphere. Also, the sounds are incredible. Great work!

This game is super fun and challenging, and I love the speaker mechanic!! Great work.

Thanks so much! And yes, the UI gave me all sorts of trouble at the very end there lol. The cropping I’m not sure about, because I’ve not seen that happening before, but I do appreciate the feedback and thank you for playing!!

Yeah, the general consensus is that the menu needs some tweaking. Thanks for playing and your feedback! :)

This game is very fun and challenging! Really tests quick thinking, which is a little stressful but overall lots of fun. I didn't quite get how to play right away but once I got the hang of it I was super invested lol.  The visuals are great! Awesome submission, happy jamming!

This is a fantastic entry. The visuals, sound and gameplay all work together so seamlessly well! It's also pretty addictive to play, lol. Amazing job, this should definitely be a top contender.

I appreciate this game's simplicity a lot, hope you and your friends had fun making it

Pretty fun! I liked the way the theme was incorporated into a literal crowd-control situation. Happy jamming!

Thanks so much!

Thanks! Yeah haha, I thought pressing each time would be a little more challenging. My apologies for your thumb though, lol

I like the idea of a MTG-style card bullet hell.  This is nicely polished for a 3-day jam, lots of enemy and character variety. My favorite character is definitely the bomber.  The pixel art is nice, too! My only suggestion would be a clear way to see the card character health, like health bars or something. Good luck and happy jamming!

This is a really solid jam submission! The controls are very fun. I'm not sure if you made the art and music, but they fit together really nicely and the art style is perfect for this game. The screen shake is cool! A few things I noticed: The music doesn't loop, which is unfortunate. I picked an explosion card and I think it flung me from the arena, because I got softlocked out of the game after that and the restart button didn't seem to work. Other than that, this is a very polished jam submission and I'm pretty impressed, especially since you say it's the wrong version. Good luck, happy jamming!

The difficulty increase was nicely done. I also love the spritework on the ninja, very dynamic!

I think the spikes from LVL 13 on were placed just a little too close to the spawn, so when you'd die if there was any left over movement, you'd run into the spikes and die once or twice more. Besides that, this was very fun! I was determined despite doing pretty terrible. Best of luck!

I liked this one a lot! The leaderboard made me wanna play more to improve my score. The screen shake was charming. Very polished for such a short time frame, good work!

Hmmm, the music sounds a little [FAMILIAR!] (I liked it a lot!)

Overall the game was enjoyable, pretty simple, I like the extra little vortexes and shatter stars. Best of luck!

I enjoyed it! I really liked the arm of the ship. I think I messed something up and wasn't able to return to the shop without taking damage/exploding, so that was confusing. Overall the concept is great. Best of luck to you!

Thanks!

Thanks! And the different types of art was intentional, but I can see how it can come off as a little inconsistent and I appreciate the feedback. :)

Genuinely, this has never happened to me while playtesting and making the game - I had no idea that was even possible! Guess you found a bug… oops. Either way, thanks for playing and the feedback.

I'm seeing you everywhere - how many games did you make for this jam?? Anywho, was a nice and very simple game. Best of luck to you!

Pretty fun with cute visuals! One comment I have is that the music, while very good (love the melody!) seems to have a bug where when the room restarts, the song layers on top of itself each time you die instead of restarting. Besides that, the game was a joy! Good luck in the voting :)

This was super fun once I got the hang of it! The audio is especially nice! The upgrade system really stood out to me, and the screen shake reminds me of the game Rounds. The lag gets pretty noticeable the longer you play, but it's nothing game breaking. Good luck on the voting!
