Fun game, i like the implementation of round-based upgrades here. My game is similar in some ways to this but you did a way better job of balancing the difficulty than i did lol

Im blown away by the art in this game, it looks absolutely incredible considering the short development time. I suck at platformers so i didn't finish the game but i got pretty far i think. The movement feels good to control but the grapple felt very inconsistent with the range, sometimes i could reach very far and other times it didn't go nearly as far so im not sure what's going on there. The story is nice at least as far as i played. Incredible looking game with decent platforming, well done!
Took me a while to understand how the game works, but once i got it i was hooked. Finding different rune combos to get higher and higher scores is very fun and addicting. The artwork is gorgeous i like the colour palette used here i think it adds a lot to the overall vibe of the game. My only complaint is that the UI is kinda confusing and awkward at times. I have no idea what the symbols on the top left mean which caused me to accidentally restart the game and lose all my progress.
This game definitely needs more attention its definitely one of the better games i played in this jam. Well done!
Love this! I really like that the game is only as difficult as you make it yourself, if youre careful with shots and aim more precisely the future rounds are less chaotic but on the other hand its way easier to kill enemies by spamming a million bullets in their direction (even if you are literally shooting yourself in the foot by doing so). Having the only enemies be yourself from previous rounds is a great way of implementing the theme and its just such an amazingly genius idea im surprised i dont see it more often.
The controls feel great i especially like that you can shoot bullets out mid-air, i feel like a dodge roll or similair mechanic would fit well in this game to enhance the movement a bit. The art style is very nice looking and the sound design and music is great. I also like the upgrade system a lot, there are so many unique effects that add to the chaos that this game becomes in later rounds. Absolutely amazing job on this game i would love to see it developed further.
I like the idea. I feel like it could be very fun with some adjustments. The game is overall a bit easy, i beat it first try without coming close to half health. Some of the upgrades that improve other items can show up even if you dont have that item (like the increased laser damage upgrade even though i never got the laser, maybe have these only become available if you have the corresponding weapon.) The idea of having to shoot coins with a magnet to collect them is cool, but the problem is that the gun will sometimes decide to shoot coins instead of enemies which can be annoying. The design of the UI is quite nice looking and the enemy sprites look good. Good job with the game overall theres some potential here for sure
Simple but fun game, The controls are not shown anywhere so it took a while to figure out how to play. The difficulrty is kinda weird since it starts off hard and then gets progressively easier with each level as the gravity gets stronger. I feel like this could work well as an educational game, showing the gravitational strength and scale of various planets etc.
I love the idea here, trying to manage steering and shooting with one hand is very hard but satisfying once you get the hang of it. The steering felt very inconsistent as sometimes i could turn the wheel easily but other times it felt like it was barely turning at all. The gun seemed to have a mind of its own, everytime i shoot it looks like its shooting in a completely random direction and didnt really seem to affect enemy cars at all. The web build didnt work for me, Windows version worked fine.
I really like the concept of this game and i think it has great potential if developed further.
Its fun, i think it would be even better if the spawns moved around or were randomized because the best strategy i found was just to run straight down immediately everytime. I couldnt get past the throwing knife stage, maybe some kind of indicator before the enemy throws the knife would be helpful. Overall i like it but the lack of variation kept me from playing for a longer time.
Absolutely love the idea here, the turn based system has a lot of potential with some adjustments. Im not really sure how blocking with the shield works maybe a more in depth tutorial would have been helpful. I also couldnt figure out how to progress past the door with the angry red ball behind it but that might just be a skill issue on my end. I like how the health system has you losing your weapons when you take a hit and the directional attacks are a cool idea. The style of this game is fantastic and i think it has massive potential in the future.
I like how the theme is implemented here, the story is well presented and easy to follow and the artwork is decent. The background sound design is very detailed and adds a lot to the immersion. I would prefer if there was a little less unnecessary details added to the narrative as there is a large amount of reading and some parts have huge walls of text that significantly distract from the experience (the phone messages for example). As a personal preference i dont typically enjoy this type of game but i can see that this is well made especially considering the time constraint.
Very fun game, the artwork fits the style of the game and looks great, the music is fantastic and the levels are well designed. I would like if the camera was slightly more zoomed out (or maybe have a look-ahead mechanic or zoom button) and the dialogue popups can be a bit disruptive as it takes up a large part of the screen. Overall i really enjoyed it, well done!
I really like the idea for this game. Having to memorize the path for the next attempt is very hard but also fun. The ghost showing your previous attempt is a great feature and i think the art style is quite charming. Some issues i found are that the inputs dont reset when restarting, so i have to keep spamming restart to clear them. Another small issue is that the sound effect for the row button is deafeningly loud. But i dont think ive ever seen a game like this and i think this is cool and a very creative use of the theme.
Fun game with nice and charming art. The game moves a little slow at first, maybe if there was less delay after shooting it would feel faster. The upgrades are quite fun however some more information about them would be useful (no idea what slime does for example). Overall i think its a fun game, well done!
thank you for playing. The browser build is a bit broken but it works alot better if you download the exe. The enemy pathfinding can be buggy in some cases, they are supposed to move to where they last saw you when you are out of sight and if you fire a weapon all nearby enemies will immediately move toward you so that might be why the enmy followed you behind the wall (Or it could just be a bug). I agree with what you said about the theme, my idea was to incorporate the theme into the gameplay itself by having enemies move in predictable patterns (unless you get spotted) and the player can try different strategies every time they retry to complete each level.
