Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience so far! I definitely agree with the pacing issue, which has been brought up as one of the main weaknesses of the story by quite a few people (myself included but I'm too tired to fix it atp lol), I will definitely take it into account for any future projects I work on though.
I'm also really happy that you enjoyed Gavriil and Yeva as characters so much that you want more content of them, though I don't think I am planning on a sequel for this particular game, as this was more of an experimental thing for me.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to play Vacation Terminal, feel free to share some of your theories if you'd like haha, I'm curious about how other people perceive my characters.
Vacation Terminal is a short 2D Psychological thriller, horror and survival based visual novel with evading based puzzle elements. Gavriil and Yeva, two strangers who happened to meet by chance, both travelling together, on the same train, in the same cabin, but really with not much to talk about. But when their train derails in the middle of nowhere, they're suddenly forced to work together. Gavriil wakes up alone in a cold, pitch-black cave- his leg missing, and Yeva claiming she saved his life. There’s no sign of rescue. No way to call for help ... This was supposed to be just a short vacation.
Originally there was a translator who agreed to help out but after a while communication stopped, which I understand, but just wondering if there's any translators here that wanna take over?
It's about 9 k words long total, the game is free and released as a hobby project so I don't really have the means to pay anybody for this service, though if you're still interested feel free to contact me on discord or email. It will be a major help! You will also be credited (ofc) in the game page afterwards.

I made a psychological horror visual novel by myself - interested to see what people think
Vacation Terminal is a short 2D Psychological thriller, horror and survival based visual novel with evading based puzzle elements. Following the story of two strangers, Gavriil and Yeva, who suddenly find themselves stranded in the snowy wilderness after a brutal train crash. To survive, they must put trust each in each other and lean on the hope for eventual rescue.

This was a game originally made for the 2025 yandere game jam which ran for a month, but we didn't make it and decided to just develop it as a separate project. Also this was the first game I have ever developed and written myself, but I'm still pretty happy with the fact I was able to finish this with the help of many wonderful people!
Leaving reviews, comments/feedback etc would be very much appreciated!!

I recently released a horror visual novel, I wouldn't say it has anything within it like a traditional jumpscare.

This is the first game I have ever developed and written, so the mechanics, and storytelling might feel a little off, but I'm still pretty happy with the fact I was able to finish this with the help of many wonderful people, as listed above, please check them all out!
Hello, would you be interested in translating a horror visual novel? I recently released a free to play game called Vacation Terminal, and was wondering whether you'd be available to help out?
The word count for the total script is around 8 - 9k, so I understand if it'll be too much of a hassle haha, just wondering if you'd be interested.

Hello, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the game, and yess! The game is set in 90s Russia, Gavriil's also from Russia, but Yeva's family comes from Ukraine.
Also I didn't think anybody was gonna notice or at least point out the little foreshadowing on the cover art lol.
If you're interested in more of the character's information there's a lil wiki abt them and the game you can check it out if you're still curious abt more!!

Hello! I have quite a bit of experience working with horror games, especially as the 2D artist!
My timezone is AEST, I hope that isn't a complete deal breaker for you though.
