There was no music, but a fait humming sound similar to what computer fans do and the exit made a dial up sound that you could use to spatially locate the exit once you got close enough.

For the repetitiveness, i can only agree, I really wanted to add some details to help the navigation but couldn't squeeze it in the time frame of the jam :(

Good point, I was uncertain about scaling the exit sound range up as the noise it make made my brain fry after hearing it so much :D

Thats's why i made the note feature to be able to leave a "breadcrumb trail", but I'm not sure it was obvious or useful to use.

It's not criticism about the game in itself, it's more bout scalability of it and the effort it demands to develop features since renpy is a specialized engine for visual novel.

It's not something I took into account when rating your project, if you are more comfortable with renpy and you learnt about this engine it's perfectly understandable and I will even tell you to keep exploring this engine !

I checked and it's not broken, i meant that it's not something I noticed while playing because my focus was on gameplay and circling around.
But it's also probably related to the screen size and my bad eyesight haha

I think the numbers of ghosts goes up pretty fast

Really cool concept, a bit unbalanced tho.

Nice idea ! Took me a while to understand where to put my cards to play them.
Some coloring on the cards and visual feedbacks would greatly improve the game !

Banger idea ! The screen size is small so it got tedious to circle around but I really like the humor and art of the game :D I can see how the scope of the game was a bit too big for the few days we had, but this game has potential !

I went to your github, I'm not familiar with godot and GDScript as I work in C# but from what I see :

- a lot of work went in system like the houses but I never noticed the villagers enter their home as I busy with gameplay (but you already are aware of that as you said in your game description)

- I could be wrong but maybe trying to achieve Composition would have been better for your events ? looks like Godot have "Resources" that look really close to the Unity "ScriptableObjects"

Good concept, reminds me of the good old era of flash games.

Nice art ! the sound of "success" kinda confused me I thought I was losing haha

Really like the art ! I dont know if renpy is the most suited engine for this kind of game but good job !

Help a certain Windows XP's legend to try to escape the abandonned maze screensaver,
Be careful of your memory management as all your actions have a cost !

I hope you will like it and I look forward to read your feedbacks !

Fun little game, beside the clunky bars under cars, some audio feedbacks would add a lot to when picking objects or selling.

Good job !

Solid idea, really lacking juice tho, some audio / effects would greatly improve the game

Great idea !

Great idea !

Good game ! but the map removes too much of the game sadly, it's way more efficient to look at it to run around since everything is on it.

Really entertaining game ! I'm almost sad I got stuck in the death screen and couldnt start a new run.

Game have a lot of numbers, some color coding on them could improve a lot of the readability i think.

After testing the other games I will probably come back and try a new run :D

It is randomly generated, each level passed make the maze bigger by 5 in X and Y (5x5, 10x10, 15x15, ....)
