Fun game, I like the art and the vibes :)

The lasso mechanic is fun but does seem to be a bit unforgiving at times, there were many instances where I would just lasso it acidentally in the beginning. Maybe adding a bit of a grace period at the start would help?

Thanks for playing the game! Glad you enjoyed it :)

We have put the control display at the first level, but maybe we could have included an option to show/hide them on other levels. Thanks for the input!

Nice and SERIOUS game! I too am fond of enslaving the hamster populi for our needs.

On a more serious note, the game is pretty neat for what it offers, a fun short expierence, though I was confused with the stat modifier pod thing it - it didn't seem to show up for me? Maybe its because I bought the upgrade first where you can choose the stat you want to upgrade? or maybe I'm just blind and didn't see it...

Either way I liked this game hope you make more :]

Hmm well probably more gun types would be nice but thats a given.

There are lots of ideas I can think of but I think if I would try to expand on the game, I would focus on the wheel part and try to add more interaction with it rather then with the more traditional "stat upgrade route".  (Though some gun stat upgrades would be nice)

For example some wheels could even be together like cogs and spin together. Or you could add a few different wheels in few different places, though managing them would probably be harder. Maybe a few different maps too.

Neat game! Kinda calming in a way lol ( the soundtrack and sfx are great). Spinning around to charge planets that act as defensive towers is definitely a creative idea that I like. The spinning around is kinda hard to do  sometimes but most of the time it's okay. As others said, yeah the difficulty jump in 3 level is big and the planets are kinda squishy, I only got left with jupiter so I had to frantically spin around the planet and try to hit some of the faster objects lol.

(The tutorial had some bugs where I clicked earth or jupiter and the game went to a black screen)

Overall cool concept, I can see it being a chill game with some more work :)

A unique spin on the tower defense genre, I definitely liked it :]

The way you could spin the wheel for different combos like maybe building a more passive arsenal on the one side of the wheel with molotovs and barnacles and more offensive one on the other side is great and I liked it!

I had some issues with gun clarity, when there were a lot of guns on the wheel I had a hard time seeing which weapon is which. But everything else is fine, if expanded on this game could be really nice, because the progression kinda ends when you get all the gun types available.

Good game :)

Yoo that's nice! I just changed the note colors so that each lane would have their unique color as one person suggested in the comments. I myself don't see the difference (the curse of the dev) but I'm happy it works!

Man where do I even start

Everything in this game is so well polished and made with care, they way the disc bops to the beat and such, the art is clean and nice and each of the four levels seem unique to their own and have distinct bullet patterns that makes them each memorable. The music is really nice too I enjoyed it :).

The rewind is a mechanic I really liked. You basically had an undo button and you could learn the hard part or the confusing part for you where you naturally without needing to restart a level. Though maybe it could rewind automatically if you lose with a rewind left? I think it does not do that but maybe I am wrong. Also a sfx would have been nice.

I had an issue where in the 4th level when the handle dissapears it looked like it dissaperead too quickly and the last red note hit me lol but this is kinda a nitpick. And I wasn't able to submit my score when I finished the 4th level which kinda sucks but I scored pretty low anyways.

Overall really fun, challenging and well done game :]

Thanks for playing our game fellow record spinner :)

Regarding the slowing down, that's an interesting observation. We haven't had much time to balance out the slowing down and speeding up against the level difficulty, but for us and others who tested the game, the slowing sometimes seemed like  to make the game harder,  since the timer moved more slowly and the bullets would start to form nearly undodgeable patterns (due to some oversights in the code) while speeding up actually made the game easier. The numbers were tweaked at the last minute, so maybe that changed something?

Either way glad you enjoyed our game!

Aw that sucks :(  Happens to the best of us though, wish you the best on your other future projects :)

Very funny and based game

The visuals are cool and the minigames are funny aswell. The spinning did need a bit of time to get used to, but I was moving around pretty well as time went on. For a few days this is a very polished game, didn't have any issues with the phsyics and it felt good to control, which is very nice :)

Thank you for playing our game!

Everything in this game is ours exept the soundtrack :) We have credited the authors in the game page description, you can go look them up if you want to!

Nice game!

The gameplay loop is quite chill with the getting  of new instruments and being able to upgrade them, though I would wish something more was done with the sfx, maybe trying to tie together those sounds into a simple beat of some sort, but otherwise fun game :)

REALLY nice game! I could sit at this and try to perfect my coffee for hours!!

The art is so nice, feels very cozy and the SFX are neat too.

It was a bit jarring being dropped straight into the game with no tutorial but trough trial and error (and A lot of psychological abuse....) I kinda got the jist of it.

It would be really cool if you expanded on this game, it has a lot of potential, wouldn't even mind if it wasn't free.  One of my favorites from this jam so far!

Neat game!

I liked the spinning car thing, it felt fun blasting away all the obstacles, though the gameplay did get a bit stale after few minutes. The police also seemed really easy to deal with, you just spam the spin button and they are gone. The movement was fun tho, felt really good to drive fast.

Hope you make more games like this, cus I like the style of it :)

Nice game! Seems we had a simmilar idea :)

Struggled a bit at first, but then I locked in and beat the level no hit.

While the forward/backward running mechanic is cool, it feels a bit unbalanced. Since you need to run forward as much as possible to progress through the level, moving backward ends up feeling like a punishment rather than a viable option. On top of that, the jumping mechanic feels out of place to me as well. Given these issues, I agree that the suggested autorunning approach by the other person seems like the right direction.

But for a first game this is a very great job :)

Fun game, I like the interactivity with the objects in the world like pumping the rocket, spinning and buying items. The art is quite neat too.

Though a lot of the time it felt kinda clunky for me to spin the copter, the humans would fall out and it was hard to get a decent speed. I got a few upgrades but it still felt kinda bad. But maybe thats the point? Or I haven't got enough upgrades lol. (Also some more SFX would have been nice)

Either way nice game I liked it :]

Really cool game!

The cube rotating is a neat concept, I liked slaming on it and bringing in spawners and crystals to the surface.

The art is quite nice too, especially the upgrade section.

As others already said, the attacks do feel clunky to execute and I don't know if that is the intention (since there are upgrades to the slams) I found only using the slams to change the sides mostly and not bother with the enemies. Maybe I approached it wrong!

Overall I liked the game hope you expand on it :)

Very neat idea for the game.

I liked the art, especially the slot machine and its animations, it looked nice.

The gameplay has potential if you would iron out some bugs and polish the spinning slashing combos (and add more stuff ofc). But I liked spinning and slashing multiple enemies at once.

Overall it has potential, hope you keep working on it :)

Added different color notes depending on the lane, hope that helps with the clarity!

First of all, the art for a 1 week game jam is INSANE. Everything looks so good and the tileset with the character looks nice.

The gameplay is quite nice, I like the spinning idea though I am quite bad at platformers like this (Silksong hunter's march those who know) So I only got to the jump pad thingies.

The one gripe I have with the spinning mechanic is that the direction seems incosisten? one time im spinning in one direction and another I am spinning in other direction. I think it would make sense to only spin in one direction( counter clockwise), since the level seems to go always to the right side? idk that's my thoughts.

Overall a realy nice game I enjoyed it :)

The visuals are quite nice and the concept is funny :)

The gameplay does feel a bit clunky at times and it took a while for me to notice you can go trough the benches and it isn't an obstacle lol.

Also the flashing red lights are kinda tiring at least for me.

Overall a neat game, the art is really cute.

Very neat game, especially for 2 weeks of expierence :)

Those hidden traps are evil tho...

At it first it seemed like it would be a very basic game I would be done with in a few minutes. But playing trough it I enjoyed it so much more then i expected! It reminds me of the times I used to play random games on y8 or other websites as a child.

The changing cars with different speeds and grips was really fun, though it seemed like 2 car is way harder then 3 and 4 for some reason

Overall a very enjoyable and SERIOUS game, while it looks simple, the gameplay is very fun.

The game works now! Though I am quite lost on what to do. I collect the 6 gears and then it says open the door but I see no door. I can walk trough the black wall on the right side but, then my character dissapears and I can't come back. Tried doing something with the inventory but it does not seem to do anything.

Thank you!

I see that you are not alone with the note visibility problem, I got used to it too much and didn't see this problem

Haha yeah...

I forced myself to not make the first level harder, but I didn't consider making the second level easier 😭😭. I guess thats what happens when you play the game too much in development.

Thanks for playing the game :)

Glad you enjoyed the game! :)

I see a few complaints about the notes and while it didn't cross my mind in development, I can now see there is a bit of a problem with this one, the shadow idea you suggested seems great.

On the speed up/ slow down, we have noticed that speeding up, especially in first level makes the game way easier and slowing down often is not worth it, I tried messing with the numbers, but it still needs more polish.

Thank you for the feedback and the time you took playing our game!

This game is so much fun. The shooting mechanic is very unique I like it very much and the comedic moments like the lock and bystanders were funny too. It balances out the sillyines and the gameplay in a very good way. Way to go!

Nice concept, but I find that you can easily bruteforce the game with time rewind and press the buttons, removing the need to interact with objects. The art style is quite nice I like it. Overall the game feels a bit clunky at times and I got lost a few times too but I can see the vision :)

Cool art for the game, the music is quite nice too.

However the game itself feels rather clunky. There are a few bugs here and there but thats to be expected from a game jam, but the one thing I don't like, especially in ring level is that the bullet sometimes takes very long to return to me and can just spin in the place where there is no coins.

Overall the game vibe is quite neat and I like the idea, just needs more polish :)

This game is so funny.

Drank all the beer for the first level, proceeded to try to beat it while the screen was rotating violently and I was trying not to puke the entire time. Eventually I suceeded but at what cost...

10/10 game very serious.

Very creative idea! Linking the concept of ballet and this games theme is very cool. The art is also very nice and the balerina model is well made. The game maybe lacks a bit of sfx for combos and such and the gameplay sometimes feel weird, but maybe I haven't grasped it yet. Overall a very nice game for a jam :)

Very fire game. The spin and rip mechanics are sick as hell and feel very cool. The graphics are nice too. I glitched out when I died at round 3 and started at round 2 somehow but the game speed was slower. Overall very cool game

Nice idea for a game, a bit rough but I see the potential :)

Arthritis simulator :sob:. On a more SERIOUS note, pretty neat game, idk if I'm just bad (probably am) but I seem to lose really quickly, maybe I am doing something wrong.

The game concept is pretty fun, though 100 bones goal seems a little too high, at least in my case the game dragged down a bit. But the premise is fun, it just needs a bit more expansion ant dynamics :).

A fun little game :D

Can't load the game  :)
