Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! The choices are judged based on the items that the adventurer has. Some are obvious, some needed more explanation that we didn't fit into the game during the 48-hour time limit. If you choose the right quest for them, they level up, and they also loot new gear for themselves, opening the possibility to finish more quests!

Thanks! :)

Zed Game Jam requires you to upload either a Windows or Web build of your game jam entry.

1. In order to submit your game, log in to Itch. Then, at the top right corner, select Dashboard from the menu.

2. On your Dashboard, you will see a list of games that you've already uploaded to Itch. Below that list you can find the Create new project button.

Here you need to set up your game so that others can download it.

3. Upload a .zip file of your build with all files required to run the game. You can upload multiple versions of your game and Hide older uploads to always provide the most recent version of it. If you created a Windows-build, the 'Kind of project' is Downloadable.

If you created an HTML5-based game you can find more info here: https://itch.io/docs/creators/html5

Most important settings on the game's page:

4. Set the Pricing to either '0 or donate' or 'No payments'.

5. In the Description, specify the controls for your game.

6. Enable Community options to either 'Comments' or 'Discussion Board'.

7. Set Visibility & Access to 'Public'

8. Make sure you hit 'Save' after uploading and filling in the page.

We are NOT done yet! Once you created the game's page, you still have to submit it!

9. Go to https://itch.io/jam/zed-game-jam

10. Click the Submit your project button.

11. Select your game from the dropdown list and click 'Submit'.

12. After a successful submission, when you visit you're game's page, it should state

'Submission to Zed Game Jam' on the right side.

After the submission deadline you can take a look arond the jam's page, download and rate other submissions!

The jam's theme is Optimize & Automate!
I started to make a submission based pn a classic video game. You can either try to take a look around games that would fit this theme and try to use their mechanics in new ways or let your imagination go wild and so something entirely new!

#ZedGameJam will launch in an hour (10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm GMT)! Follow the theme announcement on Twitch, where we can share ideas! You can join the jam all week, even if you only have a few hours to create your minigame!

I like that you can still use the computer while having the cube on screen. Making transparent apps can be useful indeed for accessibility applications or just for making a fun widget.

I like the concept of shifting between the top and bottom environments, going through is really smooth!
Seems like there is a minor delay between landing and checking for button presses. Sometimes I wanted to jump but the cube did nothing.

Short and sweet! You can trick the red enemies to run into the bullets. :)

I also got $600 after a few tries. I think the fish are getting too big in numbers. I like that you can grab two treasure chests at the same time! Graphics and rope physics are indeed very impressive for this short time limit!

Reached the end!

Thanks!

Thank You for your feedback! We encountered a number of bugs during the game jam, and while we eliminated many, I bet there are some surprises left. :)
