That would definitely be a fun addition, it's a lot more fun to try for a higher score when fame and glory await.

I like this, I got 218 but I'll try to beat that. Interesting to see what can be done with DragonRuby, I downloaded that as part of the 20 Second game jam but haven't used it yet beyond looking at a few of the demos.

Thanks so much for checking it out, I really appreciate the feedback. I totally agree on the home area being overly safe, I was thinking of Frogger when I designed it but forgot about the various perils of it from that game (crocodile appearing in the openings, deadly walls, etc). Definitely something to think about if I revisit this.

Solid game, got 1000 points, I'll come back and try again for sure.

Thank you so much, funnily enough I had been finding the sound that plays when you get a high score to be a bit loud so upon reading your comment I've gone in and reduced that and the death sound effect to 40% of their previous volume. Now getting frogs home doesn't have to be at the expense of our ears.

I like this, good fun. I think most of the difficulty for me was trying to remember which key moved the snake in which of the diagonal directions. Got to the end after a few tries.

Thanks so much, glad you liked it!

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!

Hello, that was the web version that I was getting that message in, in a pop-up window. Other than that, no problems. As far as I know there were no connection issues, I posted the message pretty much straight after it happened the second time.

I like this. I've had the message "Error: Failed to get HTTP response ready, HTTP ID 100003 does not exist in purple.agc at line 139" come up twice though, hopefully that's straightforward to sort out.

Nagyon szep! One thing, it looks like in the controls section of the description you have listed the X button twice instead of X and O. Also it says to use C / Y for O but for me it's C / Z.

Solid game, good fun. Didn't quite make it onto the leaderboard but I'll come back and try again.

Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Thanks for checking it out!

That's amazing, I am truly honoured! Thanks so much, I look forward to checking out your videos, I have even 'hit the bell' for notifications.

25.870 in endless mode, good fun.

Thanks, hope you enjoyed it.

Great fun. I have my fingers crossed there will one day be a part three.

Thanks so much Rassoc, glad you liked it, my advice for having a better chance of clearing the tower is to start with the sides first. When the tower is narrower it won't descend so quickly as it only moves vertically when it gets to the side of the screen (exactly like in Space Invaders.

Thank you for checking it out, this is my first game on itch.io and it's great to receive feedback on it. There's a bit of a trick to it, in that if you take the blocks at the side out first the rate of descent (or ascent if one of the green blocks has been hit) is vastly slowed, since the tower only moves vertically after touching the side. Also if you hit the green blocks at the right moments you can pretty much triple the time available to clear the tower (e.g. switch it to upwards just before it gets to the bottom, then downwards again when it gets near the top).

I've made a video of me getting to level three here if you're curious, it's definitely challenging though, I've probably played it more than anyone and I only make it past the first level about half the time. I'll be making a sequel which will, I hope, iron out some of the shortcomings of this one.

Now I'm wondering if it's possible to get past a level without using the top paddle. Might make for an interesting challenge.

Thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment, I really appreciate it. Funnily enough it was as you describe initially, the reason I added the paddle (and ball lose-a-bility) to the top was because in testing it kept bouncing around for ages up there leaving me, the player, with nothing to do. I will almost certainly be working on a sequel which will make various improvements, first and foremost using mouse movements rather than the arrow keys.
