To our valued participants and supporters,

After the earlier plagiarism case among 11th-20th place winners, it is with disappointment that we confirm another violation—this time within the Top 10—by the game Breakouter. The extended investigation period was necessary for rigorous validation.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the original creator Awfy for their indispensable collaboration(https://bsky.app/profile/awfyboy.bsky.social), and to the vigilant community members whose reports were instrumental in this case. Protecting creative integrity remains our paramount mission.

Breakouter is hereby disqualified from the Gamejam with immediate effect, including revocation of all awards.

To our entire community: Your dedication to fair play and authentic creativity fuels this event. Keep creating, keep inspiring!

Respectfully,

G-bits Game Jam

hello, have you recented submitted your work JAILBREAKER to a gamejam in china?

Dear Participants,

We sincerely appreciate your attention and support for this competition. We remain committed to providing a fair, just, and transparent platform for students passionate about game development. Regrettably, it has been discovered that the submissions from two teams originally ranked 11th-20th—namely ChromaStack and ATOMIX—contained unauthorized use of third-party assets/content. This constitutes a serious violation of the competition's core rules and spirit regarding originality. Accordingly, the following decisions have been made:

  1. Disqualify both teams and revoke their 11th-20th rankings.
  2. Withdraw all associated awards and prizes.
  3. Advance two additional teams into the 11th-20th ranking list, based on evaluation rankings.

The newly advanced teams are:

  1. Slime Lab from Strange Wave Studio
  2. Future from Fourth Dimension

Details are available in the Lark document: (https://leiting.feishu.cn/wiki/La2Rw16WZiMlzkkqLzcc89LPnAb) The organizing committee will contact you within three working days regarding next steps. Please monitor your communications. Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants for your hard work and commitment to upholding the integrity of this competition.
