agreed, the gravigun is great and is probably the best weapon in the game

Personally don’t like the rifle (not really a fault of the rifle, of course, I just don’t like it, especially when compared to the other choices available)
The Gravigun is just generally fun. The homing isn’t too sharp, but it’s powerful enough to make it actually perform well at range whereas the rifle’s accuracy (at early levels, at least) makes it useful at a distance and uh… not so much at range. At that point I might as well use the shotgun, fan, dash, etc.
The best combo I’ve found, however, is Gravigun + Seeker/Dash. Their playstyles are pretty different from one another but they synergize the best imho. Launcher is a good alternative to Seeker if you find its arming time too slow.
EDIT: so… just learned you can fire multiple weapons at once. gravigun + rifle has to be a war crime somewhere with how fast it obliterates enemies
started playing maybe two days ago? just forgot to comment
this game is surprisingly fun! the name is a bit silly imho but the gameplay more than makes up for it. i’ve been suggesting it to some of my friends and they seem to enjoy it too. keep up the good work! can’t wait for this to become a full game! :)
Can’t tell if this is a skill issue or not, but the turn speed on the miniboss during one of its spinning attacks—the one that aims toward the player—feels too fast to be reasonably dodgable. It doesn’t matter if you’re point-blank or a mile away, you WILL get hit by this. It’s ended quite a few runs so far. Is anyone else struggling with this boss? EDIT: Forgot to mention that Tempos flat out don’t affect this either. I feel like that’s probably not an intended feature.
I’m not sure if they’re online yet, but I’d be happy to give you some information!
TL;DR: In Chrome, the hearts in the GUI representing health don’t change, even though the health value is changing in the backend. Changing it to work like stars and cash might fix the problem.
I wrote more thoroughly on the bug below; however, it’s a bit much, and you mentioned English isn’t your first language, so the summary above should be much easier to read and understand. In case you’re interested in reading the section below, though, I’ll put the key parts in bold to help speed up the process a bit.
Full report: When played in a Chrome browser, the health GUI doesn’t change, staying at 14 hearts instead of changing when your health value changes. This is not tied to any wave, route, or enemy, is unaffected by speed or auto, and cannot be fixed via user input (including reloading the page
We know that the health value itself does change, as evidenced by Rampardos’ damage and the fact we can still fail rounds; the only problem is that the health value is not reflected in the GUI.
Changing the value to a number and having it update in the same way stars and money update might fix the issue, as those two values update as intended.
“Hey, this energy wave vaporizes matter, so literally nothing’s here.”
“…ok, but what if instead of doing exactly what the author (you) just said it does, it did something completely different from what you want, because I said so? Just be more creative :)”
That’s kinda the vibe this is giving. Not sure if you’re aware of how entitled you sound right now. You’re asking for quite a bit. If you want to make something like this, make your own game instead of pestering a developer that, frankly, has better things to do than cater to your demands. They already said no. Move on.
I don’t have any comments on most of what you’ve said, but I’m working on a pure run at the moment. So far, I’ve gotten to the ACT II boss before dying. I can give you a bit of advice if you’re interested in completing a pure run! Someone made an unofficial Discord, so feel free to contact me there.
This game is honestly kinda beautiful. I’m kinda biased, because I like stories, love rule-based horror, and ADORE stories where you get a choice (even if there’s 1 actual ending, the side plots resolve differently based on your actions and it’s honestly really interesting to me.
SPOILERS! Do not touch until completing the game!
I will admit that I avoided the Blue Man until the bitter end — you would not BELIEVE how many times I tried to die — but once I gave in and selected the other option (and subsequently questioned him, because "WHAT IS GOING ON"), he kinda grew on me.I'm not sure if there's a non-downloadable version, but I can look for it if you'd like. Of course, you could also just use external and cloud-based storage, or remove some other files for the game (which is 300 MB, or 0.3 GB). If you'd like to remove files, simply sort your files by size and delete at least 300MB of space (about the size of a 5 minute .mp4 video).
