I see your point. However seeing as this is a game I make for free as a passion project its development hinges on my interest in developing it. 

I am still going to keep Project Brood 2D, the 3D Project Brood will be a separate thing. So ultimately it's not like one will replace the other.

Hey, Yeah I do get it a lot which is why I don't tend to answer those kinds of questions but since you're being polite about it I'll make an exception lol. Yeah I'm still working on the game, there has been some ups and downs and a lot of life stuff so haven't been able to be as active with the game as I've would've wanted. I do have some fun things coming at the horizon though, I'll go into more details later this week as I figured that a devlog is definitely warranted.

Are you using a save that is older than the update? that can cause some issues

Hey ^^, glad you like the game. They are going to be able to get much bigger in future. though the station must first properly install the planetary club for them to be able to reach bigger sizes

Thank you ^^, That was a very thorough and well thought out review. I pretty much agree with all of the points you gave. But I'm glad you like the game I, Heftytotem and Ink-a-lure made.  If things align there could be perhaps some future updates to address it's shortcomings but time will tell.

That does sound like a good solution, tbh the credit system could do with a rework, especially since adding the new surrogates has changed how much credits you will get

Definitely something she would want to do at some point, though at the moment she is way too busy to be surrogate herself. Though that might change in the future.

I can see how the food selection menu might be annoying, will look into possible change

1. checked for myself and that seems to be the case for me aswell, bit of an oversight, whoops

2. Other players have reported similar thing, there is supposed to be something to show that the combo failed but i guess something must've went wrong in the code

3. Hunger meter is in the works, just wanted to get the update out there

4. tends to be inevitable with me, will look over the text while Im bugfixing

5. Not a bad idea, will look into that

6. Food will be more relevant when the mood mechanic is more properly implemented, where if the mood isn't kept high it will cause penalties

Can't say exactly, I'm still not really satisfied with the current state of the next update but I might make a small update soon just to show that Im not dead. That being said Id probably say roughtly next month should be the next major update if everything goes well.

Thats her current max size atm, bigger sizes will come later but there are some features that I want to add before then

I agree that there isn't much here yet, I am planning to add some more events and activites between days as a way to earn money and to make the game less repetitive.

Oh no the short production time was my fault, had I started earlier I'd probably had more time for more content. My schedule sadly didn't line up for me to start until way after the Jam started
