It's really nerve-wracking ahahah. Movement has been the most divisive element: most people are asking for a change, while many others are happy with it and say it adds adrenaline to the game. We'll keep everyone happy!

Thanks! LOOT JACKAL, LOOT! is designed for a mobile experience, maybe with the touchscreen the movement will be more smooth. We spent a lot to design this type of movement across variants (virtual controller, hold and drag, ecc.) and we thought that this was the most intuitive and easy case. But I promise we'll continue to work for a better experience!

We've just launched LOOT JACKAL, LOOT!, our entry for the 20 Second Game Jam 2025.
Developed in almost one month, LOOT JACKAL, LOOT! is inspired by the WarioWare series, with a sci-fi settings and a very detailed pixel-art.
"The year is 30XX. Two strange space-hunters are wandering around infinite space in search of abandoned spacecrafts, full of treasures to resell! Jackal, the arm. Sphyx, the mind. But there's a twist! Every spacecraft is equipped with a safety system that will make it explode after 20 seconds. Sphyx wouldn't be able to deactivate it in time! Steal as much as you can in just 20 SECONDS. LOOT JACKAL, LOOT!"
Tap around the map to move Jackal, and use your fingers to complete different types of mini-games. Every mini-games that you complete without fails increases your multiplier and makes you score EVEN MORE POINTS!
Challenge yourself or the entire world to make the best score that the galaxy has ever seen!

Scoperto grazie al Prof. Toniolo, da amante dei tower defense sono rimasto molto colpito dall'utilizzo soltanto del mouse per spostare la lanterna e colpire così i nemici, ottima idea! Il gioco è super polished, non mi sorprenderebbe vederlo sempre più ampliato con una bella uscita su Steam, te lo auguro!

Grazie mille per il feedback! Associare il nostro gioco a NewGrounds è un bellissimo complimento 🌟. Per quanto riguarda la meccanica dello Shrink sappiamo non essere ben chiara, ma serve ad evitare che tu ti ingrandisca troppo e quindi esplodere, come si vede dalla barra sotto. È l'unico modo al momento per evitare questa cosa - e quindi - continuare a salire e combattere nuovi nemici!
