Highlights of the public BETA (v0.4.2 BETA2):

  • Detailed terrain maps.
  • Horrible environment will be start from level 1.
  • Fixed some bugs.
  • Torchlight battery charge value have increased for level 2.
  • Additional battery have given from the start of level 2.
  • Included appropriate credit in the credit section!

Plans for the next release:

  • Did you noticed the First-person shooter (FPS) style from the start! Yes, it's time to kick ass of the ghost!
  • Main campus including Bangobondhu Hall will be design for the next release.
  • GOP will switch from PC Console to mobile platform so soon!

You can expect a lot of updates and new features in the coming weeks. Actually after finishing this game, the investigation of the suicide will begin!

The developer intend to release a complete and fully functional game. However, since the product will be released for multiple platforms, updates will likely be required. These updates would consist of any bug fixes that are necessary, compatibility patches for all of the current platform that support the game System, and expansions of the content. Hey everyone! Just a quick update on development... Things have been going along swimmingly! I've made a lot of progress these last couple of days, and I'd like to share with you a bit of that progress.

I started earlier with a complete rewrite of my code from the 'Ghost of PSTU: M. K. Ali Hall Tragedy' prototype. I'm slowly rebuilding the game and have cut down my code immensely, so it's more optimized under the hood, feels better whilst in game, and will be easy to integrate and expand on it in the future.

Now that code is close to something playable, i can start focusing on maps, items, and more, so in the next couple of months, you should start seeing some visible progress on the content side of things.

It's a complete strategic horror game with different levels. The main character of 'Ghost of PSTU' is a police officer! You have to find out the exact reason of the suicide case of 406/B, M.K. Ali Hall, PSTU.

After taking a first look i saw that my game is very reliable and most scrips still works fine. Currently one of the fatal bug is: player can cross the Terrain limit of my game. So i need to fix it! I'm fixing this with some transparent cube right now.:P So that u can stay inside the map of M. K. Ali Hall.

Adding some custom code into the flashlight & battery script so that the calculation of battery discharge will be more accurate!

Wanna use Light Flicker over the papers, so that u can collect all the papers so easily. Those documents will help u to investigate the suicide.

Holy shit! Light Flicker is working fine over the papers but the problem is the flashlight of the 1st person controller is also flicking at a time! May be the reason is both light have used as a spot light!

Get back flexibility on Unity Editor. Wanna work now inside of the hall! All 64 rooms will be accessible by the police officer(player)!

Area have been fixed! Now u can't cross the limit if u want to! Anyways, i want to close every single room of the hall coz it doesn't make sense to open someone's door in the middle of the night! Player will come to the hall to investigate the suicide case not for visiting every single room!

Well, the distance between M. K. Ali Hall & 0-point is so long! In real we need almost 6/7 min for this distance. So i've already added a runner script to the player to decrease the time to reach the hall. Just press the left/right shift along with A/S/D/W (in case of PC).

For simplifying the game, B-block of M. K. Ali Hall will not be available for the upcoming version. As the suicide occur in B-block so i'm planning to include it in the later version of the ghost! Officer, get ready to test the public version of the beta! I'm about to send a public version to the beta testers.

As the number of battery increased, so u don't have to worry abt the charge of flashlight! Just recharge ur torchlight by collecting those additional batteries around the terrain and inside the hall!

Some minor bugs are sorted now. Looking into user specific problems now. If i can't find these problems that fast i'm going to ignore them for the first and i will hope for more hints once i released a public beta version to you guys.

Nearing closer by ironing out some bugs. It is confirmed that i will release a BETA first. This release is not a public release because there are likely bugs and a lack of features in this release. The purpose of this release is to get a small group of people testing the game and giving me feedback so that i can release a public release to everyone faster. :)

There's still some stuff to do, i had to completely rework on level 2. You guys can expect another release for all (again with limited functionality) in the next 24h. After that release i'll of course continue fixing bugs and upload more updates...

Public release for everyone will be either tomorrow or the day after that (most likely).

Background is a set of events invented for a plot, presented as preceding and leading up to that plot. In my project it's a single player strategic horror game emphasizing logical thinking and planning. They often stress resource and time management, which usually takes precedence over fast action and character involvement. Tactical organization and execution are necessary, and the game creators usually place the decision-making skills and delivery of commands in the player's hands. The story behind the game is so horrible and tragic. The game is based on a true story. The story is about on a suicide of 406/B, M. K. Ali Hall, PSTU.

As you may know or not know already, the approximate release date of The Ghost was the current month (December, 2015). The Developer is still working on this project. I can't really tell the percentage of the work that needs to be done because of new problems arising one after another. The AI of the ghost is really horrible! I ask for your patience. Just like my release in the past games (Street Racing/On the Street/OTS II), i don't give exact date or how long it will take to release the Ghost! THERE'S NO EXPECTED DATE OF RELEASE IT WILL BE RELEASED, when it's ready and fully playable game. Please wait patiently.
