I've played A LOT of roguelikes, so I have a lot of feedback.

Wow such a slick interface!

Gameplay-wise, I REALLY dislike choosing from 3 cards. It feels like there's very little strategy. I pick card (is good), then I have a 50/50 chance of next card being bad. So either keep what I have, or HOPE the next one is good. This... just isn't an interesting choice? Do the hand sizes increase to over 3? If the hand sizes were 5 this could be an interesting choice as it continues to escalate, but 3 feels too low.

Yes you can buy one-time helper powers, but having played dozens of roguelikes I've been trained NOT to waste money on temporary consumables.

A surprisingly polished intro cinematic is a cool start. Not sure it's needed, but cool nonetheless.

I found many card effects to be confusing. Do words like Hortons or Iskabon have any real-world meaning? It can help to ground players using FAMILIAR terms.

Sounds are perfect.

I don't understand why you want to buy new cards. Each round appears to have TWO cards from my deck used, with one bad card added. Why exactly should I increase my deck size? Conventional roguelike wisdom is to DECREASE your deck size to ensure consistent hand draws.

I don't understand which draws have a bad card inserted. Is it just random? Is there 5 per deck? I have no idea. You just ALWAYS have to use the magnifying glass to look? If that's the case, it should just ALWAYS be visible and I shouldn't have to click anything.

The starting deck has too many cards with different effects. Too much to read, too much is initially hidden. Most players won't open their initial deck to view it, so you need to keep the starting deck simple, and then let players make VISIBLE decisions to customize it.

The first round is too hard! I feel players should NEVER lose the first round.

This is really promising! I look forward to see how this develops.

Shoot down incoming missiles to defend your base in this roguelite mashup of Missile Command, roguelite and base builder.

Made as a  prototype over Christmas.

Feedback is appreciated!

No public itch page?

HILARIOUS trailer! Love the voice-acting. Fun gameplay herding your sheep to the center of the screen, and grabbing the correctly masked sheep to scare the threat. Simple but fun. Good work!

Very ambitious trying to remake Slay the Spire inside of a game jam! Cool there's overworld map, multiple options in battles

Very well-made game! Enemies respawn VERY quickly. Solid atmosphere, nice lighting & line of sight. Cool laser pointer. Difficult game!

Very ambitious with such a large maze! Different hazards look cool

There's a password on your itch page?

Couldn't pick up the blue mask on the ground. Nice 3D models walking around. It's very funny punching a  man and watching him slide/be dragged away

Wow the boss has A LOT of health. Nice projectile patterns. Well-made game!

Cool idea to switch masks to change the controls/gameplay!

Dewcribing the controls on the itch page would be nice. Nice idea being in a bidding war!

Love the mysterious, sad vibes. Multiple screens, dialogue, this was ambitious. Good work!

Great art! Is the itch page not public? Would be nice to have keyboard support

Unfortunately not finished, but still made pretty good progress for a game jam! RPG's are INCREDIBLY time-consuming to make

Could use some instructions, but I like the mini map and levelling up mid-game!

I like the quirky art. Interesting theme. A bit confusing knowing what increases and decreases the bars. Love the dialogue and the ending is delightful. Well done!

Wow, very complex & technical game! Multiple units, resources, buildings. Tutorial is a bit too wordy. I like the minimal art. Very impressive in such a short time!

Love putting on the mask shiftily. Very hard game! I like how the colours of the wire matching minigame goes away when masked. Fun concept. Great work!

Very cool theme & art. Love jump punching & kicking. AWESOME name. Well done!

Fun muilrplayer shooter. Love how the gas particles scatter when exploded. Would love if there was gas over more of the map. Fun killstreak bonus. Nice work!

Wow, super polished. 60+ levlez, multiple new mechanics, daily challenges, auto solver. This is good enough to release on the app store right now. We'll done!

Very cool idea. Boids flocking looks cool. Reminds me of pikmin. Hard to aim the gun when you don't know where you are. Might work better if you need to visibly pull out your gun revealing your position. Well done!

Unfortunately didn't have enough time to play an actual round - in future will have boardgames arrive 1.5hra early to ensure they can be played.

Cool optimization problem. Different masks have constraints & terrain.

Would definitely play it at the next in person game dev meetup.

Very ambitious! Multiple areas, NPCs to talk to, fights, multiple masks. A bit hard to know where to go whilst under the time limit. Lots of content. Well done!

Fun voice acting & story! Different puzzles (geez they're hard). Very ambitious!

Fun game! I like the strategy of choosing which cards to draft first based on what your opponents need. Not sure about keeping a dancer between rounds. Fun theme. I like the naming of the objective cards. Great work!

Great art! Cute theme. Simple, but polished. Like the little jumpey person. Well done!

GREAT art! A bit unintuitive at the start (spike could be more telegraphed). Nice music. Has checkpoints (thank goodness).  Not a fan of the time limit. Well made, nice work!

Great art! Not sure on the balance of one csrd piercing and costing 2 mana. Enemy is very hard! Good interface, nicely queued animations. Very competent take on Slay the Spire. Good work!

Love the concept of a job interview roguelike deckbuilder. The questions & answers don't always feel like they lined up, and I didn't quite understand what some of the stats did. But lots of content, funny writing & jokes. Well done!

Beat the whole game! Very well made! Lots of content - different traps, enemy types. Interesting trying NOT to kill the invaders. Fast forward is apprecuated. Good art. Nice the music & sky changes based on the phase. Super enjoyable!

Very polished! A gamified stroop effect (google it!). I like the retro aesthetic. Are the leaderboards just locally stored? Nice work!

Neat that you can tackle puzzles in any order. Each room being different is cool. Glad hints are on the game page. Nice!

Love the start with your dqusfmates coming out in a team deathmatch. That alone is good, but the twist elevates it. A well deserved win!

Nice art, cool setting. Good to have multiple characters and choices. I can't seem to comment on the itch page itself.

Very fun idea creating the masks! Also great merch & stickers. But where's your trailer video?!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the waiting is a bit slow, either it needs to be cut, or needs more base management (digging?). A cap on buildings is a good idea, but will have to think on how/if the money/economy in a run should work.

More feedback:

Pinball physics are very polished!

Gameplay seems a bit simple (but that's pinball). I wonder how much variation can be inside a run.

Love the juice is squishing/scaling pinball items.

Losing to being shot is a bit abrupt - need an animation of the gun coming closer, cocking, a brief pause, then bang (maybe you/camera falls to the floor with a thump).

Horror combined with other gameplay is popular - buckshot roulette, inscryption, typing with a gun to your head game, cloverpit.

A desaturated, brown/dark pixel shader could look really good (a la buckshot roulette).

Very cool game!

Wow, what a fun concept! Very engaging to find where the items are, and get them in the right order. Clover is OP!
