Hey! Thanks for the feedback. There’s absolutely a problem in this build with lack of onboarding. It’s built as a mechanical prototype and, as you picked up on, it’s a test of whether the systems can support the necessary depth for a game like this.
But then I put it public, and before doing that I really should have put more effort into the onboarding and tutorialisation. Lesson learned, I guess!

Earlier this week I put up a prototype for Delve Too Deep, a crunchy tactical deckbuilding dungeon crawler, inspired by mechanics from Gloomhaven and Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Combat takes place on a hex grid with a focus is on enemy and resource management, with each turn being a puzzle of how best to tackle the current threat with a mix of ranged and melee combat, determined by your cards. The prototype is free to download, and has about 90 minutes of gameplay, with some replayability.
