really nice work! i love the atmosphere. the diner with the window in the background and stuff is awesome. the variety of all the people is fantastic. it feels like a living place. i was intrigued by the various mysteries. the flow could use a bit of tweaking, like i often clicked too fast and didnt see or remember what people wanted. maybe if they told you there could be a thought bubble or other reminder. i think some music could help add more atmosphere, the ran noise gets a bit much, maybe there is a radio in the diner and you can control it and people have music preferences.

that was really cool and scary! i loved the variety of the diferent segments. sometimes i felt the text gave too much away. some time pressure could add more excitement. it would be really nice if players could start from their farthest level in because i did not finish the game. you could still track if a player makes it through from the start of a run. great work!
nice game. heres some feedback...
- i like how there are so many things to build and upgrade
- the night time scenes are really cool
- would be nice if the text was a bit bigger, on desktop expand to fill the whole screen.
- i feel a overwhelmed as a new player, would maybe be good to start with empty land.
- need to start slow and onboard players
- sound is a bit jarring
amazing work! Mario vibes throughout, great music, wow it is raining now, looks awesome! feels fun just existing in this world and that is one of the most important and hardest things to do. would love to see you polish this more.
also i am having trouble finding any landmarks. i looked for a while. would be cool if you could use shards to buy upgrades and stuff.
The theme is totally optional so if you created the majority of this game during the jam time and it was made using AI then you are good.
I just checked out it out and there are some pretty big issues with your game you might want to fix. first of all the encoding is messed up, you might need to add a tag like <meta charset="utf-8" />. secondly the bottom is cut off so it is not possible to play, itch.io has a built in full screen button you can enable.
Welcome, so glad this is your first jam! Game jams are a lot of fun and a great way to rapidly improve your skills.
Interesting to hear about Grok, I've barely used it at all. I'll check it out. I've noticed each LLM seems to have its own advantages.
Excited to see what you make! You're also welcome to join the Discord for discussion and help.
Let's share our tools and help each other make the best games possible!
Here's my setup for the jam:
Code: Claude Opus 4.7 4.8 Fable 4.8 in VS Code
Art: Probably GPT Image 2. I've been really impressed with the results from the new model.
Music: Suno 5.5
Engine: LittleJS. It's been working amazing with Claude. I'm using the version in this repo that has extra stuff for AI like skills and templates: LittleJS-AI
I've found using an engine much better than vanilla JS because all the hardest parts are already handled, so the AI can focus on the gameplay. LittleJS works really well because it is so small and clean that the AI can understand it easily. You don't even need to know much about the engine, the AI takes care of all the for you.

Hi,
We are having a problem with our game jam and game not being listed and hope someone could help.
The game jam is centered around AI game dev. We understand is somewhat of an undesirable topic but there is great interest in this area. Our goal is not to encourage AI slop but instead elevate the quality of what is possible with AI tools. Also we are working hard to build the community and support human developers.

- not visible in calendar
- not visible on my jams hosted page
- already has 17 people joined
- The game: https://focaccai.itch.io/alien-pinball
- not visible in search
- posted several weeks ago
- our highest quality game so far
- over 1000 views, and 500+ plays
So far we have run 2 game jams that have appeared in the main page and received a great response. First jam 50 people joined, second jam 104 joined. We would like to hold a jam like this every couple months and devs seem genuinely excited about the opportunity to go wild with AI tools in a friendly environment.
Our previous jams and games are all visible...
We would greatly appreciate some help getting this resolved. Thank so much!

Hey I played your game and it is working well, here is my feedback...
- great to see there is a tutorial
- nice main menu
- good art style
- player could move around a bit faster with smaller collision so is possible to dodge
- nice upgrade system, i like how there are multiple ship types.
- i did not realize the coins were good at first, i thought they were bullets. try to differentiate them more
- i like the count down to start a wave
- it would be cool to see more varied bullet patterns
- good music and sound effects
I played your game and is working well, here is my feedback...
- cool start screen! for some reason set to winder then my monitor so i had to zoom out
- there are weird sound effects happening when i click away from the window
- i thought maybe it froze up when i clicked deploy, maybe add a loding message,
- the framerate is very bad it is hard to play.
- if you are using canvas2d that can be slow to render, maybe try a game engine like LittleJS
- in game graphics are good but could use refinement. like the player sprite could have different angles to aim the gun.
