We need an update to include the Question "Donald Trump?".

Maybe you misunderstood me, the button mapping is good, so don't change the inputs. Just adding the Keyboard buttons in game would help.

Ah yes, my game also cut some corners when the deadline was approaching.

And yes, I saw the bench and thought, that could easily be a chair...

A game for fast clickers... That's me! Very beautiful and clean sprites. Though sometimes, the buttons didn't have the correct hitboxes, so I clicked them but nothing happened. Still, I got through on my first try. But I would have liked it if I could finish brewing all the potions, but the game always skipped to the next level as soon as I had the minimum requirement done. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten 100% here. Maybe you could let us finish all the potions and in the end show how many were actually brewed correctly, out of however many there are in the game.

Crazy game! very chaotic, but soooo fun to play!

Found it!

Thank you. I can't find your web version, though. I won't play downloaded games.

I just played it again and now it worked. I completed I think 4 or five levels, up to the one with the breaking floor tiles. In the following level though, I went up, and if you do that, that's an instant loss. I didn't have the patience to get back to that level again. If your restart would take you to the start of the current level, this game would be so fun! maybe you can do that after the jam...

I'm pretty sure there was no exit from the shop, only the way I came from

High Score of 1069! Nice!

I played on keyboard btw., it's totally fine, also you made if correct by setting the physical location of "Z" to the gamepad button "A", because like this it was "Y" for me on the german keyboard. If you now were to display the Keyboard buttons in the game, there would be zero problem with keyboard play.

One little bug I found (at least I think you didn't want that) is that with time, your muscle don't cool down to white, but at first they became like pinkish for me, then later they stayed orange after fully cooling down, so maybe you're modifying the color strangely. I guess you are doing like "intensity += 1" and later "intensity -=1", but then the internal calculations drift off. I you instead would track your muscle fatigue in a designated variable, then calculate the color from that fatigue, something like this shouldn't be able to happen.

All in all, a very nice idea, reminding me of the simple sports game I played with my father a long time ago, where you also had to button mash ;-)

PS: would have been easy to put a chair in here somewhere, right?

Wow! Impressive GameJam game. Is it endless or does it have a goal? I think I reached room 10 or so. Would be cool I you showed a progress indicator at the end! I remember when you showed us in the discord how your game is coming along and you only had a limited amount of pills in the beginning, so now it is much cooler to find them again and again throughout the game. One of my favourites so far in the jam!

neat little game to make in 7 days. But I don't understand where the slow burn theme came in here...

Funny dialog! Very clean experience for a game jam game. I felt how I myself got slowly burned out by the stupid customers, haha. And the music... I don't know if I hate it or if that just fits the theme?

it works now! I got to the first shop. but then the game didn't advance to the next level. I suppose there is supposed to be a next level, right?

Interesting idea, but I have no clue how to beat this. seems very random.

Or do you mean that the pixel sizes of the art pieces do not match? That is just laziness haha

Oh so there were supposed to be more levels? That would be a game breaking bug I think, so you could ask for the extra 24h and fix it.

Cool that you made something in 3D in this short time. It is not much, but ok. You came up with some funny dialog, even if I find it too depressing, haha...

I like how the look of the game is so chill (pun intended) but the gameplay is soo stressful. Very nicely drawn art, I didn't come across any bugs. Like Nobody_of_Teron, I also had a bit trouble reading the font, but I could just manage it. Maybe go for a more basic font next time.

If you want to continue on this game after the GameJam, I would suggest an easier beginning of the game, so you don't get frustrated right away. Like maybe you're trained on how to serve customers in a warm location, then you get promoted to colder and colder climate locations, so the coal hauling gets harder and harder...

I just tried again, and had no problems with sitting down. Maybe I was just too bad earlier ;-)
I increased the rating a bit

Yes, I was trying to sit in the empty chairs, but sometimes it wouldn't let me. Maybe I was at the same time still pressing the A/D button or maybe the catchers were already too close? I was a bit frustrated, because I thought, hey, I made it to that safe chair, but then it wouldn't let me sit...

Yeah I always start by making large rooms, then I don't have the time to fill everything with nice content... But if it was funny to you, then my goal was achieved :-D

Cool!

A lot was done good here. Graphics, Audio are on a very high level. What I didn't like though was that I had to click on the "Continue?" text to advance. why not let me click anywhere? And the concept is a bit against yourself... you make me do the quiz quick, but you also let me skip the dialog. So the best tactics are to just skip all your very well crafted dialog.

Maybe you could describe what to do in your game on the itch page, because I took quite a time to figure it out. Except if you are deliberately keeping us in the dark (pun intended) and it is part go the game to figure it out. But in the end, I beat 2 levels and then it went black. So is that the end of your game?
All in all I liked this game a lot!

It felt a bit like playing the Atari ET game haha. I had no idea what to do and suddenly there is a jump screen, then a level select where level 2 and 3 just disintegrate if you click them, and you find out you have been starting in level 4 at first... wild...

Very nicely done!
A small advise: Make the player press a button before the game begins, because my first time playing it I had no sound, because the sound will only play if you clicked into the game once.

I don't understand what part of this implements the theme.

Nice art style! The catchers are a bit buggy and sometimes I couldn't sit down. All in all it turned out pretty well I think.

Very cool idea for the controls. In the second level I got stuck in a dead end as it seemed. Then I got carpal tunnel syndrome from all the scrolling. But I like it, it's not for the weak handed ;-)
