Thank you for playing! Very proud of the animations, it was one of the major reasons for me to picking this idea. Would love to have dialled up the hit effects.

Thank you for playing! I had never played them, but watched a few play throughs to get inspired. Feel like I could take it and make it my own in the future.

Thank you for playing! I'm very proud of how swaying from left to right quickly looked lol

Thank you for playing it. The whole time I'm developing it I'm singing the Rocky themes thinking if only I could write something close to this haha

Thank you for playing! It's my "specialty" I feel and picked the idea where I can really do something quick and effective lol The characters are the same 3d model that ive modelled and textured to look flat to give the "hand drawn" look. More prep time BUT the speed at which I can do animations that look "good" is alot faster.

Thank you for playing! Was the first jam I've done where I had an idea I liked and stuck to it haha

Thank you for playing! I had tested it so much that it became very easy to win even on the harder variation.. But I think I just managed to find that balance with the time I had.. there was another "3rd phase" where he feinted but had to cut it.

Thank you! I added the comic effect last minute just to give it something of a unique identity that was quick to do. But was very proud of the game feel in general.. So much more I could've done to push it further

Thank you for playing! It's just a 3d model I've rendered off and textured it to look flat with outlines. I really wanted to push the smears further but because I rigged him quickly, I couldn't get it to look any better haha The punch smears work really well though, theyre just 1 sprite I used a warp on

Thank you for playing! I wanted something a little different and more cinematic, but agree it made the readability of the attacks a little harder.  Have some ideas on how I could adjust it to make it better, especially as I loved the game feeling at higher speeds.

Thank you for playing! Music wouldve added so much to game especially if it built up as you got close to the end. It's missing some crowd interaction too which wouldve pushed it further..but very proud of it in the end.

Thank you for playing! There were definitely alot of ideas I had that I cut, but might develop it further later on.

Thank you for playing it!

Thank you. The player controller pretty much pushed the project to completion, managed to get it done before the end of the second day so everything went "smoothly" after that. The remaining time was all on the champion and his AI.. just managed to get the major bugs out with during that last day lol

Thank you! Yeah I agree about the music. I only just got sound effects in there in the last few hours so pushed it to the end. The punches are just me tapping a mic and combining it with me blowing into it lol Very proud of the AI, I had started a '3rd level of Ai' with feints, but had to trim last minute..

Thank you for playing. The idea was to keep it like rock paper scissors but once I realised it was more fun to just sway quickly I had to pivot lol I had to simplify it alot in the end  but really wanted you to be able to telegraph and bait the AI into going to certain sides so you could setup big punches. Alot of learnings and fun from it. It's definitely a project I might continue later.. Having different fighting styles and punch types would add so much.

Thank you! Music would've added so much.. Really wanted something Rocky like that built up as you progressed, wouldve added so much. The atmosphere and overall sports presentation I wanted to push more (especially the crowd) but just ran out of time.

Thank you! There was definitely a lot more I wanted to do with it. The camera angle I wanted something cinematic and was inspired by Pokemon and God of war. In hindsight I prob would tweak it a bit so the attacks are a little more readable.. but was happy with the outcome. There was a lot more I wanted to do and maybe explore them in the future.

The initial idea was you could use the down to crouch while you sway so you could sway in 8 variations. Then allow for low attacks too, but once I was happy with how it all felt.. left it all on the chopping block haha

Really creative idea and take on the theme. Really fun game.

So simple, so effective. Very clever idea.

Thank you! Prob spent too much time on art and animation that I ran out of time to make the fight more compelling haha you win some you lose some.

Love the take on the theme. Nice work.

Nailed the mood and art style. Excellent work.

I really enjoyed this one. Really creative.

The game was surprising addictive. Wasn't paying attention to anything the guy on the left was saying and it cost me dearly in the end haha

Thank you for playing it! I couldn't come up with anything really that was like " This could work" in regards to the theme, which is why I settled for the easy "scale the tower" option lol I did have a story, that would've helped... but all went out the window due to time restraints. Congratulations again on your game jam submission, I really hope it does well.. so clever and well executed.

Thank you for playing it! I'm quietly proud of the animation and character controller... level design was a mad scramble because I spent too much time on the former lol I actually designed it that way, the inspiration were the rage games that you had to climb mountains and could fall all the way to the bottom..  won't be everyones cup of tea, but was hoping there would be enough "fun" in the character controller to get you to say... one more try haha

Thanks for playing it! Funnily enough the background was the last thing I gave up on, only because I couldn't get the vertical parallax to work properly haha The idea was it was a crime syndicate tower, which ended with the big boss at the end by the final window... had 60% of the background art done, but once I realised I didnt have time to spend time on "story"... just settled for what I had in test levels.

Thanks for playing it! I split it up into mini levels, double jump section was just after the sliding one so you wouldn't have missed it (big assumption on my part as lack of play testing from anyone outside of me was non-existent lol ).  Definitely needed sound, some more juice and I wanted to have a story to give it a bit of life.

Thank you for playing it! The camera definitely needed to be adjusted to help you see obstacles coming up.. got the chop when I fell behind haha

Thank you for playing it! As you can prob tell, spent too much time on getting the animation and character controller as good as possible... then realised I had less than a day to do the level lol

I really enjoyed the way the zombies climb each other. Very nice spin on the theme.

Great game. Execution of the theme is very well done.  5* across the board

this is my winner so far. most original and creative way to use the theme. Everything works so well, well done.

Nice use of the theme, I enjoyed just partnering with everyone to see the designs haha

very polished and art work is fantastic. Nice work.

I often went into the blocks when trying to push them, but other than that.. top notch

Art style and use of the theme are really nice. I tried a few times to work it out, but couldn't get it. I think the biggest issue was just a lack of feedback to know if I was on beat, taking damage, blocking etc

Thanks for playing! You got stuck? Damn, never ran into that one.. ran out of time so wasn't able to get proper play tests with others, on different machine etc
