Still looking for our pixel artist! I've had a few amazing people reach out (shout out to Cazwolf, whose sprites and portfolio impressed me and reminded me of a good game I should play someday), however, budget-wise, I wasn't ready to proceed. I have to think very far ahead to ensure we have the runway to finish the whole game, and many reached out that were beyond my budget.

A few also made great resources, but raised some concerns about maintaining a similar style to what we currently have. We're going to try a few assets together to see if it's a match, but still keeping our options open.

I've updated the first post: I am specifically looking for an individual artist. I don't see the point of working with another team while already having a small team assembled (I've always preferred to work in small teams of 5-10 people) though we remain open to outsourcing some aspects later down the line.

If you're a solo pixel artist who fits this, feel free to reach out, I'm definitely going to give you one answer or the other and I don't bite! (Unless provoked)

Hello. We are building Galaxy Pilgrim - a physics-based platformer that feels like a chaotic, pinball-inspired experience.

We’re getting a demo ready for the October Steam Next Fest, and we need another pixel artist who isn't afraid to get creative with the visuals!

This role requires close, direct communication with our developer to prepare and refine assets for our pipeline. Candidates who are comfortable taking technical feedback and iterating closely with our developer will be prioritized.

The Demo will include:

  • 2 worlds (Including boss battles)
  • Opening cutscenes and a tutorial
  • A tube shooter mini-game

We're still figuring out some things so some WIP assets might make it as fun easter eggs.

Just a heads-up on payment: I cover all commissions strictly via USDT.

Unfortunately, I can't use PayPal, Ko-Fi, or bank transfers. I'm happy to send payment via your preferred network (TRC-20, Solana, BNB)

If you're interested, please reach out on Discord: feit3ng

When reaching out, please include the phrase "USDT Accepted" in your first message, let me know what interested you the most about our game, and include a link to your portfolio along with your rates (hourly, flat rate, or per milestone)

Please note that AI artists will not be considered (we need consistent, high-quality art), and messages failing to meet the application requirements will be ignored. Hobbyists and beginner portfolio-building inquiries will not be considered. We need results, passion and dedication!

Also, we're looking to bring an individual artist directly into our small, existing team. At this stage, we are not interested in studio or agency partnerships.

Thanks for reading it to the end! Hit me up with those details on Discord and let’s make something cool together.
