Castlevania The Adventure (Atari Lynx)
Casual fan of the series here.
I bought Atari 50 a while ago and slowly grew to appreciate the lynx. There’s a homebrew community for the handheld too, which is nice.
CTA on the gameboy is a bit of a mixed bag. Christopher moves in a snails pace, the vampire killer is the only weapon you have access to in the entire game etc. Some design choices that haven’t aged well, especially for players looking to emulate retro games.
M2 later worked on a reimagined version of the game called Castlevania The Adventure ReBirth, which was released exclusively on Nintendo’s online WiiWare platform. Sadly ‘ReBirth’ is no longer available to purchase and it’s yet to be rereleased.

hi there. I go by Indinox. I’m looking for LGBTQ video game recommendations here on itch.io. I’m down for action, platformers, visual novels, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, comedy, drama, rpgs (I know I’m generalizing things, please bear w/ me lol). I’m open to exploring other types of video games (if some of the suggestions are 18+, please let me know).
