nah its not rude.  I wouldnt want my game to get over looked, might as well take thoes extra steps to get it out there.

I never thought a metroid maker would work out until i played this, this was really really awesome dude.  I love how I still have to return with my map pieces making it still a metroid-vania to its core with the back tracking. I would rephrase your summary to "A metroidvania without having to remember locations" because it technically can be interconnected if I make it interconnected. I'm going to show my roommate when he gets home from work, seriously great job! You should really take this idea farther.

And no complaints considering the great quality and amount of time you were given to make this.

got pretty intense when jake was getting close but i had to quit cus it was cramping my hand running from him but the idea is really funny and I enjoyed it along with the diolague

A text adventure with no text but emojis instead. I beat the game (killed the dragon) and it was frustrating but it did follow marks topic very well and felt as fair as it could be. I got extremely lost finding the bomb, forgot how I found the money to buy the bomb but what ever it was I game so close to shutting it down. The alien secret was fun but i feel like i missed a secret. Because even after beating the game one of the vampires is mad with the church and something about a document? how do I do that quest? is it a secret or a hint? I talk to the church guy with the book and I don't understand him. Anyways sweet game I hope it gets included. I spent a lot of time trying to beat this one!

i hope this one doesnt get overlooked cus its probably my favorite so far. I just think reloading isnt necessary because there isnt anything trying to kill you. Since there are no enemies what would be better than reloading is finding ammo crates after certain points in a level, enough to get you to the next ammo crate. If you had planned for enemies but didnt have time i think the reloading was necessary. But overall great use of the recoil mechanic, it was fun while it lasted. Also the simplistic design is great too reminds me of an old arcade game like elevator panic or something.

you stomp the boss where you see it's cracked and it explodes

I thought the boss was intuitive because it showed you how to beat it when it shot its self letting you know what to do. The instinct I got has to destroy the rest of them. The only shame i found in the boss is it didnt include the round about things but was a minor thing. And the consequence of death is pretty small in this game and I think thats the only way to learn how do beat the boss is by death. And much like the other levels they came with trial and error as well so my personal opinion is the boss was a great ending.
