I really hope you plan on continuing this game, because I really think It’s a solid baseline. For what it’s worth, I’d be very interested myself in knowing how a “full game” from this would look like.

If I can suggest a few changes :

  1. Either give the Player 50 Coins at the beginning, or give them a basic defense option they could use from the beginning (like, a roll?)
  2. Specify to who the multipliers apply to (at first, I thought they were supposed to go both ways).

Very good

Very good looking game, along with the Sound Design: it makes for a good atmosphere. The Input Field was a little weird, for me.

Good stuff.

Nice potential as a chill game, good stuff!

Forgive the profanity but this was so fucking cool. It’s defo one of theses cases where the less you explain, the better it is.

I didn’t finish it (if there is and end?), but it was a very good contemplative experience. If I can get petty for a second, a few more sound effects would’ve perfected it.

Good stuff.

I really liked playing Space-Tarzan!

Movement feels smooth. There’s definitly space for some Sound Effects in here to make the game feel even more juicy.

Good job!

I like playing a 3D platformer from time-to-time. :) Made me want to do Minecraft parkour.

“Shift to Sprint” isn’t mentionned in the control on the game’s main page, but I can’t imagine myself playing without it : maybe add it.

For some reason, the WebGL build won’t fullscreen properly : as in, the viewport size stays the same.

Also please turn down the “thud” sound (I believe it was the door closing?), it jump-scared me a little. :(

Good job!

Good stuff! I understand it fits the overall aesthetic of the game, but the Player is too slow for my taste. Also, the parralax was moving way too fast, which is a shame, because : The art looks pretty good.

Nonetheless, well done.

Other notes I took while playing:

  • Camera jitters slightly when on a moving platform.
  • Sometimes, my character kinda gets stuck in the corner of platforms.
  • The character design mixed with the fact that it’s a 2D platformer reminded me of Super Meat Boy.

Hello :)

We did intend on making the game difficult but we may have gone too far, haha.

The mini-map was a last minute-ish addition and we do plan on letting players choose where they place it (and the size of it).

Thanks for playing!

Hello, Thanks for the compliments. We DID develop AI, they just bugged out on this build specifically.

We just released a fixed version.

Hi, Reminder to maybe update the Jam’s main page with this link as the one there is broken. :)

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! ❤️

Glad we managed to spook ya. 👻

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! ❤️

We really wanted the fixed camera angle because It’s nostalgic for us but, yeah, it’s definitely a “style over gameplay” thing.

Hello, Sorry that you’re having issues with all Godot games but I’m not sure I’ll be of much help.

Have you tried clean re-installing your GPU drivers?

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! ❤️

Dying in general will be improved once the voting period ends.

Good ole arcade fun :3

Bonus points for having time to implement an online leaderboard on such short notice.

Took me a while to understand that enemies could go through walls but fun idea along with good choice of sound effects. Well done.

Big fan of the overall aesthetic.

😎 (He says thank you)

Thank you so much! ❤️

Hey there! Thanks for playing. :)

We’ve already tweaked the shader to make stuff more visible along with improvements to the jump and are just waiting for the voting period to end!

Hey! Yeah, a tutorial will be implemented once the voting period has ended for sure as this was a common feedback. At first we intended for there to be increasing difficulty the more you complete runs but we were a little short on time, lol.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback.❤️

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed.

We’re aware of the shader’s clarity issues and will tweak is soon enough, I agree it does make it hard to see some things. Not being able to jump on staircases was indeed intentional, haha !

Thank you for playing and for your feedback. =)

Thank you!

Fun and challenging 2D platformer, well done. =D

Good stuff!

❤️

ADDICTING.

Excellent use of the limitation, very well explaind in-game as well. (which is rare in Jam games)

Well done !

Interesting take on the limitation! I feel like a tutorial would greatly enhance this game.

Well done =)

Very fun mechanics and simple to understand gameplay :)

Can’t wait to see more levels being added

Really makes you feel like [EMPLOYEE].

Had fun, played for longer than I initially wanted to, haha.

Cute art ! :)
