I think it depends entirely on how much you want to lean in! In playtesting, I personally ended campaigns ranging from 2 to 12 sessions, and can say it worked for the short ones just fine – but we wanted to end the story we were telling with dramatics, and that might not be you. :)

Ooh, I actually don't know how itch handles gift distribution internally- I suspect you can add your friend's email closer to Christmas and it'll go out then, but if not you can reenter the email on this page to have them resend the download link; https://itch.io/docs/buying/already-bought

If anything goes wrong, I can always send you a new download key!

Those with financial hardship can always email me for a free copy of the PDF!

I am traveling until August and can't ship orders, but they'll be available again then!

Sorry, no! The sum donation has already been sent to the NNAF. There are regularly large charity bundles on itch, though, so do keep an eye out. :)

Hi! Thanks for considering the game to end your story. International shipping varies, but generally takes 2-3 weeks. Even at the outside (and sometimes things do take longer), it should get to you in time. But the physical book comes with an immediate digital download, so worst-case you'd still have that.

Hi! We're waiting on someone from itch.io to sync the jam to the bundle for us, as it takes an admin to do so. We've let them know that the jam is over and we're ready to have things moved in, so hopefully they get to it soon!

Excited to see this jam, and I just wanted to hop in and say; when you're feeling happy with your tools, please do submit them to https://tinytools.directory/ ! We've got an easy form to fill out to get them added to the list, we get lots of traffic, and I'd love to link to them all through there. :)

wow-- thank you

Currently, all the individual tiles have a transparent background! Did you need transparency in the spritesheet?

Thank you so much for the heads up! Unfortunately, I think (?) I have no control over the placement of the launcher - that's all Unity. I might be able to just skip the quality settings stuff for Linux, though and have it just start automatically?

Great, thank you! Gonna leave this here if anyone else runs into this, and see if I can upload a version that fixes this from the getgo.

Ah, my guess is that this is not an issue with the build itself but is rather a permissions issue. Are you comfortable with the command line? Can you see if the solution described here fixes it if so?

Hm - its a 64 bit build, but from Windows and I only run High Sierra on my Mac so its a bit hard to test. Did it give you an error?

I would be honored! Email me? everest . pipkin @ gmail

Unfortunately I don't, although I wish I did- maybe I'll be able to get it translated someday.

thank you so much! this is a great resource, i had no idea

Hi! They're CC-by-3.0, please credit the tileset so folks can find it. Something like "Tileset is Mushy by Everest Pipkin, https://everestpipkin.itch.io/mushy"

Thank you for the heads up! I'll look into this, I'm guessing it is an issue with the ":" character. Is this windows?

If you want to use them in Tiled you'll set your Tiled project to a 64 x 32 Isometric grid, which they will fit. Transparent pngs are in the individual tiles download if you would like to overlap them.

Macs are really not friendly towards custom screensavers- but I'm working on an applescript solution! So far its still pretty buggy, but I'm hopeful I'll get it stabilized enough to package up soon.
