This was a little stressful and confusing at first, and I wasn't quite sure which unit was doing what. I had to read a few comments before I understood how the game worked (and I still don't know what Energy Farmer does) but after that, I had a fun time playing the game. I found it a lot easier to just drag and drop rather than move my L-shape. The game did get a little monotonous after a few waves but the core loop is fun and there's potential if you choose to expand it.

This was a nice game with an eerie atmosphere and a nice deduction gameplay loop. Nothing too complicated but I enjoyed it for what it was. The house could have felt more 'lived in' but the uncanny vibe was probably intended.
A few issues:
- The mouse/camera moved while I was making choices
- Sensitivity / Audio Settings returned back to default when starting a new game
Wow, not at all what I was expecting! Quite engaging and great visual direction!
A few things I would like to point out, some of which has already been mentioned:
- The mailbox collision threw me off, since the player's feet aren't anywhere near that of the mailbox.
- I think both the pixel art and the hand drawn stuff looked great on their own but I didn't love them together
- The changing font. It's cool on paper and it does make you think that something isn't right, but it can be a bit much. Instead of removing it though, I'd suggest an accessibility option where the player can disable it.
Can't wait to see what you guys make next!
Thanks a lot for playing!
As you can probably guess, the player controller was made early on when I had a lot of time and the others... you know how it goes. I was definitely thinking about the save points issue especially when I was playing your game! I didn't have a realistic idea of the difficulty, and I guess that's the importance of playtesting!
I definitely plan to revisit and address these issues alongside refining the visuals for more consistency and better telegraphing!
I loved this game, but there were a few things that prevented me from finishing it, which I would love to revisit and do. First of all, the atmosphere is amazing. I love your take on absurd size and how you translated that to the world. The weirdness of the world reminded me of my first time playing Morrowind.
Combat was fine at first, but after unlocking the Striking Sigil, it became very easy. The enemy became very easy to pick off from the distance as they would not react to being attacked unless I was close enough. The other issue I had in the Deep was that I kept clipping through the floor as I tried to make my way (which is what prevented me from continuing)
But overall, the game is splendid!
