oh, no, I wouldn't be using gifs as assets! I'd just want to see some gifs or videos of the animations being played as intended in the RPG Maker Engine, so that I can have a reference when attempting to recreate the animations myself in another engine from sprite sheets

Hey, I purchased these effects as part of your all-in-one pack, but I don't actually own a version of RPGMaker that can use the json files! any chance you could post some gifs of the animations in action? there's many I can't figure out just by looking at the frames alone, like Ani_burst3, or Ani_dark4

you messed up the formatting of the new all-in-one pdf! turnip town's rumors/hooks show up after blood fens and cat bell tower instead of those maps' respective rumors/hooks!

doesn't even have to be a zelda thing specifically imo, i just think it's weird almost nobody makes metroidvanias that aren't side-scrolling platformers, zelda was just the closest thing i could think of off-hand

would it take much tweaking to make it able to output maps with a more top-down perspective in mind, ala 2d zelda games?

any chance at a discount for packs we already have? I already got all the human packs, the dark elf pack, and the orc pack. 70 dollars for a pack that I assume is like, half made up of stuff I already bought kinda sucks

it only happens in 1.58, and it doesn't matter what size the image is being imported or being exported. also, to be clear, I'm using windows 10

I have tried every single thing you listed here and none of it changed anything, no image is saved into any folder I'm aware of when I export

I can't export anything in 1.58, but I can export stuff from 1.57 and 1.55. what gives?

after I made this post I did manage to get the tile palette to show up... sometimes, but I couldn't paint a pre-existing object, and the tile palette was prone to disappearing in a way that required me to restart blender

how the hell do I add a tileset? the UI for the Sprytile tab looks different from the tutorial on my screen

I've been able to make normal custom blocks in blender just fine, but when I try to import an object that's just a single square polygon, it only renders from one side. Some objects, like the sheetmetal in the city tab, seem to be 2d, even if there's "creases" in it, and they render from either side. how do I get a custom object to behave the same way?

is this game finished? I've seen posts about it here and there but that's never been made clear to me. Is there like, a full ending to the story and everything?

frankly I don't even use hexes for regional maps in TTRPGs, I prefer square tile grids for both battlemaps and overworld maps.
