This is awesome! You inspired me to make my own quad sphere voxel planet using Rust. 

I'm in process of porting to a better graphics engine, but I have a great test demo for you to try if you are a fan of RTS space games like homeworld!

Use Safe Lamps (Yellow Light) to hide from the Lurker.
