I love the sound design of this game and the visuals. The CRT effect brings me way back. The idea is very nice, I like that there are a lot of characters to talk to and explore. At the moment, I find the time constraint a bit too tight.
Btw, I had no chance of reading the text at the beginning of the game. It disappears too quickly, and with the CRT effects, it is a bit more challenging to read quickly.
Ah, now I see what the idea might have been! It’s a pity that only the submission page image and its “subtitle” give it away. Many players will miss it. You can use the junctions to disconnect the railway cars from the train, and presumably, they can collect the resources individually.

In that case, I think it would be better if the resources are automatically generated at the stations at some rate, and the player would mainly concentrate on finding the optimal paths of the railway tracks. Currently, the score only shows who thought about installing an autoclicker. :D
Amazing game! Genuinely had a great time playing. There are a few things that could be ironed out, but I can imagine this being a full release at some point.
I had mainly 3-4 issues with the game:
- The sound effects can get a bit annoying at the later stage of the game, especially where there is a ton of animals getting stuck in the mud.
- When using the broom to remove an obstacle that is spawned near or on top of some placed item (plank/boost…), the item is automatically grabbed when the obstacle is removed. Very annoying and pace-breaking in the later stages when there are a lot of things around the loop.
- Although this might have been a design choice, I found it a bit weird that the assignment timer keeps going when placing items.
- It is a bit tricky to place items when there are a lot of animals in the loop, and they keep getting stuck at the part where you’re trying to place the item.
Very cool game and quite sophisticated for a jam. I am missing some level selection because I got stuck in level 3, like 2-3 times, and had to restart the whole game.
For some reason, the first time I got to level 3, I wasn’t able to build anything. The second time I got to level 3, I was able to build, so I outlined an initial shape of my roller coaster first, but one of the red points got created inside of the already existing (initial) track, and I was unable to interact with it (could not move it or delete it). Therefore, I was stuck and could not progress. After pressing the bin button, my build got deleted (as I was expecting), but then I was unable to start building again, so I had to restart the game once more.
I like graphs, so this was an enjoyable game for me. A tutorial is nice to have (although not covering all nodes), the visual and sound design are simple yet satisfying.
It is harder to grab and move nodes that are connected. It seems that the edge (running under the node sprite to its center presumably) is consuming the mouse click events, preventing the node from registering this input.
There might be some issues with the scoring. Just by removing different edges and adding them back, I am able to get an additional score even though the graph does not change in the end. Here’s an example of level 1, where I was able to get 500 points:
The Done button does not work for me on levels 2 and 3 for some reason. Didn’t try more levels because the tutorial is not skippable.
Playing the web version BTW.
The game looks amazing, has a very interesting plot, and the sound design is great. However, it seems a bit buggy to me, unfortunately. I had some trouble with the UI twice. Maybe the web build has some issues when going in and out of fullscreen?
The most annoying thing for me was the fast camera movement - maybe it is not scaled with delta time, and it’s blazing around on beefier computers?
Still, I think this will do very well in the jam, well done! :)
Great work, guys! I really enjoyed playing this for a while. The art style is great, and I love how the menu is implemented.
The initial part (around 9 loops), when you only play a single track at a time, is a bit too long and gets boring until it ends. Then, when multiple tracks are introduced, it is fun for a few minutes until the soundtracks get too repetitive.
