Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! There actually should be game pad functionality already, I just didn't explain that anywhere lol.  Any controller should work but on a playstation controller "X" is jump and square is attack. You'll just need a mouse for the menu buttons.

Thank you so much for playing my game!! I watched your video and to be fair, I definitely should have made spacebar the jump button haha. Thanks for the kind words :)

Fun game! Puzzle games can be really hard to do well in a game jam but these were well thought out and easy to understand. Nice job!

Such a simple idea for a game but very effective! The audio and visuals give the game a lot of personality. Well done!

The art in this game is super impressive and polished for a game jam game! Very simple idea and it's executed super well. Great game!

Fun game! I found it a little difficult but I like the concept of death being an opportunity to grow stronger next time.

Very fun game! I was impressed by the drawing/note taking mechanic. Also the visuals are so cute!

Super cute! Love the pixel art style and the arcade feel!

Thank you!! I've been focusing on improving my art recently so that means a lot! I will say the lesson I always seem to forget is that when you make a game by yourself, the controls are never as smooth as you think they are.

I think these might be the most satisfying puzzles I've played in the Jam. Amazing job!

Thanks for playing! For the zoomie mechanic, the explosion is actually the "good" outcome. It's not a game over, it just removes all the squirrels and resets the dogs size. But I can definitely see how that might not be super clear. There might be a better way to explain in game

Wow I was blown away by this! The art is gorgeous, the controls are super fun and satisfying (after a little practice) and the map was very well put together. I did not expect to see such an enjoyable "metroidbrainia" in a game jam. Amazing job!

Thanks! Great minds think alike lol

Oh my gosh thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing! The dog movement definitely gave me the most trouble during coding. I'm sure there's some way I could improve the responsiveness

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!

Very fun, polished game! The loop mechanic is very straightforward and easy to understand but still made me use my brain to solve the levels lol

This might be the most relaxing typing game I've ever played. Love the art! So glad that Sylvan has a cozy sweater to stay warm <3

Thanks for playing! The speed was something I definitely grappled with for this game. I think there's definitely room for me to tweak the speed and have it change as you play

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I did add a mechanic that slowly spawns more and more squirrels the longer you play, but since it's a game jam game, I focused more on making it easier to play. I do like the idea of adding a way to keep the length rather than losing it tho. Could add some fun risk/reward!

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback! Maybe in the future I can see how I can smooth out the controls/responsiveness more.

Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it! The Zoomie meter is honestly just an excuse to make the dog chase its tail because I thought it was cute. Mechanically, when you catch the tail it just clears all the enemies and makes the dog shorter again

The real rat king was the friends we made along the way. 10/10

This is art

I really enjoyed this game! The old computer visuals were so cool and the puzzles were really well thought out. Overall it was very fun and very impressive. Great job!

Very cool game! It took me a while to figure out what all the power ups did and what order they were applied but I really liked the art design and the puzzles were really clever! Very impressive you were able to make so many levels in such a short time. Well done!

What a great game! The art style and sound design were really cool. I really liked where the player could choose if they wanted to play through a section as big or small. I think there is definitely room to expand on these ideas if you wished but as it is it's still wonderful. I also loved the ending. Great job!

Love the art style! Very impressive you were able to make so many polished levels in such a short time. Great Job!

This is a really polished game with controls that are easy to understand but difficult to master. It was a little tough for me, but it was very fun to play! I also really like how you can play around in the menu. It's a great way to let the player get used to the controls. Great job!

The art style is beautiful and the level design is very well crafted. Smart puzzles and fun mechanics that are easy to understand. Great job!

This might be my favorite game of the jam! Love the art style. Love the music and sfx. Love the cake. Great level design. Amazing work!

Great game! There's definitely potential to expand this idea further for more levels

This is such a simple concept done so well! The gecko's tear at the beginning almost makes me not want to play (almost)

Thanks! Glad you liked it! I'm pretty happy with how the SFX and music turned out

I love the concept for this game. It really makes you strategize about how you want to move through the level

Thanks! I tried really hard to make the mechanics as clear as possible

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it!

Such a cute game! I love the art style and the puzzles were fun and very relaxing. Great job!
