I really liked the sounds! Controls/levels felt a little tedious just because I felt like the only thing I was doing was moving the blocks in tiny ways until my player could reach them.

If it worked like mario maker and showed you a trail of where you were the last time, then it would be a lot quicker and more fun for me because I would know exactly where to put the blocks, instead of making really tight jumps for myself. Nice game!

I clipped out of bounds by going through the door on the last level so I could win easier haha! I loved the speed tech to go super fast after bouncing on a wall. Fun game!

Would be fun to see a speed run where they just keep hitting the side of the wall and zoom lol.

web build also didn’t work for me, I would probably hide it

found a bug where if you pick up and drop the block fast enough it will stay on the platform and not let you pick it back up haha.

Cool idea though! SFX, some screen shake, and maybe heavier blocks with a little more momentum that moved slower would be cool!

I loved this one! I got the heat death and stranded ending. Wasn’t able to find the last one. Good job!

SFX and or Music would add a lot, but impressive to be made by just you!

volume control was in the menu! You must have not gone to the tab! Main menu -> Options -> Audio.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the cutscene. General McBadface was hilarious to me as well

Mission successful if you ask me

Very cool! I got stuck on level 5, and the level after gave so many items I got overwhelmed!

But, overall very cool and has really neat systems! I like the art and concept a lot!

With some playtesting and more time I think this could be a real casual gem! For now, it is a gem for people who love learning puzzles like this on their own with a difficult learning curve

I was not smart enough to solve it, but it seemed clever!

Cool idea, and nice art! I think some sound effect when you die and maybe some health instead of instantly dying would help.

Way to finish this!

Definitely fell off the map several times, but this game has nice visuals and sound! I liked the atmosphere, but would focus on playtesting and trying to make it a bit more intuitive in the future.

Nicely done!

Super cute!!!

I loved the simple and fun puzzles on top of great sound and art. Would probably try to hone in the controls to feel snappy, once that is done this would feel like a fully polished steam game for the steam deck!

Be proud of this one, it is in my top 10 favorites :)

Fun! Would try to prioritize art, music, and animations for it to be really engaging!

Biggest thing to improve would be shooting sound effect. To harsh and repetitive. Could pitch shift it (google this) or just randomly choose between several less harsh sounds.

Nicely done!

This game is awesome! I loved the art and gameplay. Would have liked to have a keyboard button to flip pages on the book. Only complaint!

Reminded me of the other similar games where you sit at a table and it is a bit eerie (inscryption, buckshot roulette, etc.) Definitely in my top 3 favorite games from this jam.

You did amazing!

This was awesome! Definitely in my top 3 games I have played for this jam so far.

Things I liked

  1. Easy to understand crafting
  2. No bugs or issues playing
  3. Simple premise
  4. Nice sounds
  5. Satisfying to farm and get really strong!

Things to improve

  1. Add animations/more art
  2. Keep adding more content, what you have is fun!

Really cool artstyle! I got a bit confused with the limb mechanic, but really liked the art, lighting, environment, sounds, etc.

Well done!

Nothing happened when I booted it, but seems like a cool idea! Hoping someone else will be able to run it!

Cool idea, hard to follow. A description with controls listed would help!

Accidentally left my light in another room and despawned it, but very fun controls and great art!

Nicely done!

Cool controls! I died quickly to something I couldn't see. Probably just need to make it a little easier to see the enemies.

Great job!

Really cool game! Would recommend to polish the experience by

  1. Making it so I can hold down the color shooting button
  2. Only shoot with left click
  3. Shoot fast enough to be able to speed through the level instead of meticulously spraying the color before each jump, it is counter intuitive to the fun movement you implemented!
  4. Rework wall jumping to feel more intuitive

Overall, great job! This is super cool!

Correct! I think you understood exactly what I was saying.

Don't worry about it! Still super cool and you should be proud of this! This was only my second jam and I have plenty of things I wish I had time for

I had a lot of fun!

I think instead of having 100 different types of cards it should be 1 card for each image. Then your merges could be more intuitive. I found the merge mechanic to be extremely counter intuitive because there were so many similarly named objects!

Also, a quick intro to the controls would be nice, going in depth of how to discard, play, merge, etc. It took me 10 minutes to know exactly what each thing meant.

I also never understood upgrades or hand types, because there were so many unique objects.

Overall, a very fun and cute game, which I think if scope were reduced to less unique cards it could snowball more like you wanted it to - like Balatro!

Well done.

fun! After going deeper nothing happened, I don't know if it glitched or if I reached the end

Super cute! I enjoyed the tight controls, clever text on the level, art, sounds, and everything! I think you made good choices here and something like this would be really fun to play for a long time.

You should feel very proud of this :)

I quite enjoyed this. Very fun!

I think it was a bit difficult for me to learn the balance, and I didn't realize we were fighting another person until I scrolled over and discovered I needed to hurry

This is really cool! I really enjoyed playing this. Only thing I would say is that section at the end with lots of fire I had no idea what to do

Fun!
I do think sound would add a lot. Even simple sounds using a tool like https://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html would be something to consider!

nice! I liked the plane explosion. Controls were a bit difficult to learn. Maybe a write up in the description would help?

Very fun, more focus on sound design and combos would make me play it for hours!
