- I got stuck in between ramps and couldn't get enough speed to make it across on respawn. I saw in your GDD that you had sound, but I couldn't hear any. It was fun in a sandbox environment where I kept trying to flip the car. However, I thought the game needed more player feedback for things that were happening. Keep working at it. This was definitely a unique experience so far in the game jam.

Mafia Cars game. You were raised within the Gasoline mafia and your goal is to take over other mafias, this slice of the game is about taking over the Ethanol mafia.
Each fuel type in the game (in this slice there are 2, gasoline and ethanol,) has a special effect and combine to create other effects.
The controls are wasd/arrows for driving and mouse1 to fire the weapons.
Extra Notes
This is my first semi-complete game mvp and it was fun to make. One thing I'm really looking forward to learning after this is sound design. Thanks for hosting this game jam!
P.S.
If you get stuck on an edge, press escape and there's a button on the pause menu to reset the level.

I like this simple concept and think it could be a fun game (multiplayer maybe? I can imagine driving around with friends in a car mafia, although I know multiplayer probably isn’t the best place to start with making a game). I agree that sounds would be great for the game, but it’s a good start in my opinion.
That's a great idea, Multiplayer would be great. I'll try learning more about its implementations alongside the sound design.
Fun!
I do think sound would add a lot. Even simple sounds using a tool like https://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html would be something to consider!
ooo, Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be sure to take a look.
