Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback man! We're thankful you have such a nice opinion of our game. I tried yours, it was also very fun!

Thank you so much for your kind words, we appreciate the feedback!
We definitely wanted to include more content, but sadly time was not on our side. Hopefully that's something we can remedy in the future!

Thanks for your feedback!

The original plan was to do a target of 10 waves followed by an end screen, and include platforming and tutorials as well. Perhaps even a boss! But there's only so much high quality, smoothly animated art you can make in 2 weeks, unfortunately.
We scrapped platforming and tutorials despite having their assets due to issues in our development/coding part of the game where there were lots of issues with AI. Therefore, we went for a more "well executed, less content" approach.

Thank you kindly!

Glad to hear it! I tried to make the glasses look as unique as possible xD

Thanks for the input! Actually there are art assets that were ready and finished but sadly didn't make it to the final cut of the game due to AI issues encountered by our programming and development team. Unfortunately we had to scrap them since we didn't have much time left for submission :(

My pleasure man!

I really like how goofy this game is xD
Unfortunately the UI just stops working once I start the tutorial level and when I beat it, it ended up erasing all text in the endscreen and menus

This is actually very good game design! I like how you had to switch between different abilities for different situations

This is VERY creative gameplay! I love how you actually made a couch co-op game instead of just going for singleplayer like the rest of us. Very very engaging gameplay and incredibly fun!

Very reminiscent of old stickman games, I like it!

Thanks man!

This was a fun little experience, I like how you used the glasses!

Reminds me of old Atari games in every way, I like it!

Ah yes, another game starring a school-age protagonist with punchy skills, glasses that shoot lasers and an ultimate that makes you go "ZAAA WAAAARUDOOOOOOO" xD
In all seriousness though, this game is amazing! Such high quality and such good polish on the end product. LOVE the manga style shading on the backgrounds, the anime inspired designs, the robust gameplay and responsive controls. The music was also very fitting! Instant classic

Glad you liked it dude! Yeah the ranged enemies are by far the most irritating xD So pro tip: Use your dash. It gives you i-frames and also absorbs projectiles!

Very nice work, Nathaniel and Arthur! I really enjoyed the puzzles and back tracking :D
Also I didn't expect to like the audio this much, it is very fitting!

What I love the most about this one is the level design and the 3D with the pixel art filter. To an old-school shooter lover like me (DooM ftw), this makes it an instant favorite!

Ooooh I like this one's idea, but holy moly it needs quick mouse skills xD Very nice take on the theme!

Ah, I'm glad someone noticed that! xD I've put a couple of easter eggs here and there around the level and in the main menu (very obvious pepe). I tried to make each pair of glasses look unique and different, and the animations feel as smooth as possible to the player's eyes.
And yes, the music tracks are both certified bangers, our audio director went all out on that! The bit about having "landing punch sfx" is possibly our most repeated critique! We'll make sure to include it in future projects!
I'm very glad you enjoyed our game! Thank you :D

Thanks a lot! Everything you see is original content, no assets used to ensure total visual homogeneity in the end product :D

This game was a breath of fresh air. Lots of classic DooM 1993 vibes to it, got me hooked right away! Also that guitar riff is SIIIICK

I'm surprised at how many attacks the character can do!! THIS IS SO GOOD!

This game is very fun to play, feels like an actual old school beat em up! Very good job!

AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Running on a 256 GB SATA SSD

My highscore is 12. Can't say I'm particularly good at these games considering I'm primarily an RPG player xD

Glad you like the game man! Believe it or not, the visuals of the game all share a 32-bit art style, and our developer did his best to translate that in Unity.
Granted, one UI element was acting especially strange during implementation, but as far as I'm concerned the in-game assets all use a similar visual style, with the single exception being the dithered evening sky (cause who doesn't love a dithered evening sky)

Simple, unique, to the point. Love it!

Just a small problem with the attack being delayed around 2 seconds after the button press

I like the background's color palette, good choice

I can't do anything besides talk to NPCs whose dialogue spawns near buildings and is incomplete. Would love to progress the game but don't know how!

I even tried downloading the windows version and it had the same problem as the web version

I really wanna play this game because of how cool the idea is and how aesthetic it looks, but the buttons keep getting stuck the moment I am made to choose an upgrade, or when I open the options and go back to the main menu :'

Love the pixel background! High quality environments :D

Sorryyyy, must've had a glitch while making the comment xDD Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Been doing pixel art for years, glad you like the game's style!

Thank you!

This game's concept is incredible! You always have to balance between not dying and seeing your enemies! Love the art too!

This is quite fun! As an artist, I'm a sucker for charming low poly games like this one. Music is very nice, quite funky! Only issue is the incredible increase in difficulty on the second level, and the fact that after punching, you rotate to the right and offset the direction you were pointing at.
Otherwise, love this! Very responsive controls and fun gameplay
