Seems to work better with desktop VPN (it got to 22%), but since I was using the free version the data cap wasn't enough to download.

But I don't understand how it can even happen that games can only download with a VPN activated. This is a problem I've only ever had on Itch.io.

Since people wised up to who the real JK Rowling is, it must also be possible here.

Its kinda pointless to be aggressive towards staff here since this is the result of them having a metaphorical gun to their head by  payment processors that bent over after whining by a anti lgbt christian extremist org that wormed its way into power by claiming to act under the guise of feminism and donations from likeminded people(Collective Shout).

Valve has also by now reported that Mastercard full on refused to even communicate with them.

No matter what I do, and if i download natively in browser, the itch.io desktop app or in a download manager, i cant download games over 300mb.

The download eventually is interrupted and can't be continued. No matter what I do, this always happens 6%-10% in. On the app, I get the error "local error tls: bad record MAC" which i know the rough usual cause of, but no solution to.

Last year I had no issue downloading games of this size off the site, and nothing has changed about my computers hardware or wifi set up.
Ive by now tried every single proposed solution from other sites yet still not gotten downloads to work.

Ive been trying and failing to download one big game for 4 months now.

The installer only lists the destination for the CLAP plugins and I genuinely can't find where ever the stand alone went.

Ive got the complete opposite problem. Steam download games normally, yet itchio interrupts and eventually breaks in browser.
