Hey everyone,

My name is Ege and I am a recent computer science graduate. I hope to land a job as a programmer in industry, but with the market at its current state, I find that the best I can do is develop my skills until things get a little bit better. I'd say I'm a relatively experienced Unity developer, though game programming has a bunch of sub-fields, each with its own domain specific knowledge, and I'm looking to gain more breadth by dipping my toes in each of them through technically advanced projects and tech demos for my portfolio.

An example would be my last project, where I simulated a swarm of bees by implementing an AI steering system. It had simple behaviors like seek, arrive and align, and more complicated ones like path following. I like learning new programming patterns, and I usually read a textbook or some other resource as I work through the project. I enjoy doing this, but find that if I had a collaborator that I got along with, and could discuss concepts with, I would both me more rewarding and just a better learning experience overall.

So, if there is anyone out there in a similar position, please contact me. My idea was that we could have daily check-ins, implement different parts of systems or even code together swarm styles. I am also open to working on any kind of project as long as it teaches me something new and challenges me. You can find my previous work on my website and LinkedIn page, which I will be linking below. Also my email is egeyilmaz2023@u.northwestern.edu if you're interested in working together.

C# for unity

Hey everyone,

Our group is looking for a visual artist to join our ranks! We are currently three people (two programmers and one composer) and all of us are somewhat experienced in our fields. We are looking for someone on the Americas time zones that is also passionate about game development. If interested or would like to discuss further you can reach out to me on discord (id: egeso14).

Big fan of both your work and the game you worked on for the previous jam CastoriusBG. If you can add me on discord (egeso14), I'd love to talk more about potential projects/our expectations.

Yea, it's just me so I could join a team. Add me on discord - egeso14

Hey hey,

Yep, I'm still searching. Would you want to connect on discord and go from there? My username is egeso14

Hey everyone,

My name is Ege, I'll be graduating Northwestern University this year and am looking to get into game dev as a programmer specializing in 3Ms. Last year I've developed a complete 3d roguelike and am currently interning at a game studio in Chicago. At this point, I have become quite comfortable with Unity and am currently in the process of learning UE.

I've always been interested in game jams but never participated because I was not really surrounded by other game devs. I thought, however, that this might indeed be a good opportunity to meet other passionate devs, so said fuck it and signed up. If you're looking for an easy-going yet passionate member for your team, or just want to introduce yourself, feel free to hit me up on discord (egeso14) or just respond to this post.

You can find a demo of my game here:

Looking forward to hearing from anyone and everyone!
