Big thumb up for the overall visual design and the variety of weapons and enemies.

The sound design and the music were very on point, especially the walk sfxs of every robot.

I liked the variety of paths to choose in the map and that the environment was against me and I had to be careful but maybe I'd have liked to have more occasions to take advantage of it and to feel "smart" like positioning myselfunder the final mechs to kill them.

Seems I missed some cool weapons, I should play it again and bully the big guys ;)

In a world shaped by story and vision, music is more than background: it's memory, identity, emotion. I compose original soundtracks that breathe with your world, its characters and their journey; from tailored orchestration to full audio integration, I turn your game's essence into sound. If you need a voice for it, I'm here to listen.

Hi, I'm Edoardo Ardizzone, a composer with a multifaceted background and experience in music production and you, as my client, can benefit from:

  • Service customized to what you're looking for, based on a starting conversation.
  • OST basic, iterative, adaptive or in-sync with cinematics.
  • High-quality music production softwares, VSTs and synths (Cubase PRO, Spitfire Audio BBCSO etc.).
  • Score and parts writing for 3rd party musicians.
  • Complete mix and mastering.
  • Updates, meetings, chats/calls and consultancy as needed in order to be on the same page from beginning to end.
  • Professionalism and scheduling for adhering to the deadlines.
  • 2 major revisions per track (little changes are free).
  • Music license exclusivity with contract, no royalties to be paid.
  • Payment per minute of music or per hour of work (by commission or by hiring).
  • Possibility of sound design and audio implementation.

NOTE: For small indie teams and solo devs I'm quite adaptable regarding my fees especially if I really like your overall artistic direction and gameplay. In my opinion to be paid is purely a form of respect for the professional's effort, time, taste, skills, education, experience, etc. Yet what I'm primarily looking for are not just clients, but true artistic connections with whom I can share a journey and make games we want to play!

I've following an artist on twitter that does similar style and I've been thinking for a while how I'd love to make the music for something along those lines. Give me neons, martial arts and crime (without mentioning the sci-fi part!) and I will be more than glad to help as a composer. This is my website to know a bit about me and my work https://www.edoardoardizzone.com/
I hope we'll get in touch, I'd love to know more about the project

Hello everyone!

My name is Edoardo and I am a music composer and orchestrator, sometimes sound designer (I'm used to wearing more hats).

Thanks to a mixed educational and artistic background, along the years I have acquired broad experience in writing for a multitude of media (video games, film, tv commercials, concert music) and styles. As everyone here, I'm very passionate about games and I specialize in writing music for them; what I'm looking for are people with whom I can share an artistic journey and assist them in their needs and in making their vision come true.

WORK POLICY

  • OST basic, iterative and/or adaptive (in-sync with cinematics possible)

Tailored  to your needs, especially if in one of the following styles or similar: classical, ambient, orchestral, dungeonsynth, big band, jazz, cheerful/cozy, dark, world, medieval, anime or drama.

this is just an approximation so asking for something specific or sharing own temp tracks/references is welcome ;)

  • Constant updates, meetings, chats and consultancy as needed in order to be on the same page from the beginning to the end.
  • Time scheduling in order to adhere to deadlines and to promptly overcome unforeseen issues.
  • Delivery time strongly depends on the project: I can write a complete track, mixed and mastered, in 1-2 days as in 1 week or longer.
  • Separated stem tracks included in the service.
  • 2 revisions per track, any extra costs +35% (may need additional time too)
  • Music license exclusivity for your game in compliance with a contract.
  • Average pricing by commission is €500/per minute of music | by hiring is €25/per working hour

Costs vary depending on project's characteristics!

Delivering a 4 minutes very simple ambient or solo piano track within a 4-weeks deadline is cheaper than 4 minutes of contrapuntal music for orchestra or of trailer music in many styles and moods within a week. Reasonably, small budget solo devs are charged considerably less than AA  studios.

  • No payment of royalties asked. You pay only my services.

[No rev-share, bills need to be paid...]

  • Available for sound design and/or audio/music implementation in game engine through middleware. Likewise, I am willing to join an audio team or to form one with trusted and experienced colleagues by offering the whole service as a package.
  • Recording 3rd party musicians is paid separately based on their fees.

For asking a quote or anything else, don't hesitate, I'll gladly answer as soon as possible.

here's a sample of my work :)

Hello everyone!

It's time for your gameplay, story, characters, visual background and game personality to be completed and enhanced by a musical score, so now you're looking for someone... just stop scrolling, I'm here to help you ;)

I'm Edoardo, music composer, orchestrator and sound designer.

Thanks to a mixed educational background, along the years I have acquired broad experience in writing for a multitude of media (video games, film, tv commercials, concert music) and styles.

As everyone here, I'm very passionate about games (aka a big nerd ahah) and I specialize in writing for them; what I'm looking for are solo devs or teams with whom I can share an artistic journey and assist them in their project and vision. I want your game to be memorable.

Below, through my website link you'll find more about me and my work, namely playlists, bio and a contact form for getting in touch with me (I prefer this before talking in discord). If there's something you need to ask or discuss don't hesitate, I'll be glad to answer and the estimate is free.

Unless the client asks for it, I don't fancy this method of charging, even if it's industry standard, since I could take advantage of that in the case of an ambient track, which is for its nature quite long. There is more stuff that comes into play when deciding the price, like: how much time do I have at disposal, how many tracks, how complex the music, seamlessly looping or not, interactive or not and so on. Every project has its own necessities which are to be discussed.

Hello! I'm Edoardo, a music composer with formal education and a varied experience in concert music and music for media.

  • I write mostly orchestral music (with or without sketching it in a paper/notation software beforehand) by using VSTs, as usual, or by hiring musicians and recording their performances.
  • Moreover, two tracks of the reel below show my proficiency with electronic ambient music (tracks 3 and 14) and in my website you'll find some examples of sound design if you need it too; dungeonsynth or ethnic/world-like music are also welcomed.

In this playlist you'll find tracks in various styles, my contact details and socials. Feel free to ask me for anything necessary and best of luck for your project! ;)

I really liked this game, very trippy and addictive ahaha. The only two things, but just to be a stickler, are the start tutorial with these "slow-appearing" messages in a dark red on a dark background that I in a hurry completely ignored (they slow down the game rhythm and excitement at least for me) and then some places where I was forced to die, like the first (I guess) secret bread, but that's the jam theme and moreover it fits with the concept of the game. As a musician I liked the musical and sfx choice, it was very diegetic with the neon like background,  but by dying continuously and with the frustration rising up the fact that it was the same loop repeating over and over was a lil bit annoying for me. My compliments because I haven't seen any bugs and I loved the art! :)

discord link doesn't work

I'm now available for new projects! Tell me about your adventurous game :)

That's cool! I'm looking forward to hear from you :)

Hi Alory335! As a musician I love dreamy/ambient orchestral textures and as a person I really do love nature than nightlife movidas. Maybe you can find my style useful for the project https://www.edoardoardizzone.com

I strongly suggest taking a peep to Lake Reflections, Barren Lands, Ants Marching in A Snowfield, "bianche immagini di Hokkaido", orchestral prelude from "Vento e Mare" (my symphonic poem from conservatory graduation :) ), "samsara" or the music I wrote during the Global Game Jam 2023 for "The root of life"; their style should match to your vision. Anyway I am a huge nerd of first half XX century Italian and French composers and of modern VGM Japanese harmony so it's the kind of style I'm striving to! Let me know if I can be of any help🙏🏻
