Of course, you can answer to this message when you upload a new version so I could check it out

I loved it, nice idea very well done, amazing aesthetics (visual art and music), I have not much word for this. Saved to my favorite game jam games collection here :)

Ok wasn't a bug, it was just that the room changed and I didn't noticed it, took me a while to understand how the room rotation mechanic works, but after I got it I really liked it, feels pretty original to me, I like it

I found a bug, I walked to the first room and went back before actually being in the room and I got stuck, I think the door to that room closed or something

I'm using Windows 11, I'm just running simultaneously the Vivaldi browser, Discord, and WhatsApp.

I gave the game another try to catch a little bit more of "when that happens". This second time the cursor didn't go to my second screen as before for some reason, but I saw that the cursor still going out of the game when my cursor was around the bottom of the screen over the taskbar.

I had the taskbar option enable  "Automatically hide the taskbar" on Settings > Personalization> Taskbar > Taskbar Behaviors on Windows 11, which makes the taskbar appear when the mouse is hovering at the bottom of the screen. I disabled this option and the mouse lock worked perfectly this time. I think the mouse was behaving more weirdly on my first play-through though, I hope this can help you figure out what's happening

btw, would you mind playing my game too? I would appreciate it :)

It is pretty interesting, I enjoyed looking for the best ways to kill all the snakes and the boss after that, the art style gave me good gives of an original game, having more variety of visual assets in the game could be cool and add a lot to the vibes (maybe more environment things or variety of enemies).

I definitely expected to be able to attack up and down (or maybe throw to wherever the cursor is) but being the way it is, felt more unique and made me think differently than I expected. It is a nice result :)

Very interesting gameplay concept, I'd like to see this idea more developed. I like the art style and animations. Sometimes I got kinda stuck about how the game works but I got the idea after my 2nd run

The gameplay pacing is so good, the introduction to the main mechanic of separate cubes and then teaching me how to put them back as one cube through the levels, it just worked so well. I can't avoid mentioning this remembered me of the game portal (I guess the cake at the end is a direct reference), the voice-over humor and guidance remembered me a lot of GLaDOS, and the space for each test also remembered me a lot to Portal, which is personally fine to my I enjoyed it all. All the sfx made with your voice was also funny to hear :)

I really like that type of game kind of "paper please" like. The dialogue system gets super absurd and funny sometimes, I loved that.

I think I have the potential to be pretty fun in the long run adding some lore, and mechanics (I can't stop thinking on paper please when think about how the game could grow tbh tho xD)

It looks pretty nice, the sound of the braking ceramic is pretty satisfying and I enjoyed just throwing a lot of dards all the time to try to him something xD

The lock mouse thing didn't work for me, idk if could be my fault somehow since is the second game I had this kind of issue, while moving the camera sometimes my cursor went to my second screen, pausing the game when I clicked, also I move the game window accidentally some times by having the cursor outside of the game, I'm not sure why that may be. Anyway, it was fun to play and satisfying to break the objects :)

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
I agree that the enemy would be the main thing to be improved, I just did my best during the jam time and I really learned a lot those 2 weeks :)

I loved the aesthetic so much, the visual art and the music gave me so cool vibes, it made me want to try to make something in a similar style, I liked it so much. The gameplay is so cool too, I like the "switching between realities" mechanic (even tho took me a little bit of time to get it), the store and the enemy waves based gameplay make a really nice game loop IMO.

I had a bit of trouble with the mouse lock, I have 2 screens and the mouse was unlocked going all the time to my second screen so it made it a little bit uncomfortable to play at times.

However, I gonna have this game saved on my "favorite game jam games list", and have this aesthetic in mind as a reference for future stuff I'd like to make :)

Amazing concept, it feels really well to play, I get lost sometimes and get to feel like "maybe I shouldn't be going this way... or maybe I'm free to do whatever" so I was unsure about doing something I should be doing, I think isn't a big deal, I really liked it :)

The gameplay felt so clean! I think the difficulty curve and progress were so nice, the tutorial stage, introducing new enemies and weapons, felt really good. Also the red area when you gonna get shot by a sniper type of enemy, the melee enemies, are very simple visuals but really clear, loved that :)

ofc, I played it and left a comment :)

I'll keep an eye on those post-jam patches, the feeling of the game is really nice. I tried again to play the web version and check if the mouse lock thing happen again and yes it did, I wasn't able to quit the game with the esc key, I have no idea what may be happening tho 😅

I enjoyed the graphics and ambience a lot, I got scared as fuck  when I saw one of the little black enemies moving for the first time, that was pretty nice.

The controllers are pretty confusing to me, in my first run I didn't get why I wasn't able to move the camera in the Y axis, I thought it was the idea but then I saw I wasn't able to kill the enemies and knew I was doing something wrong, I didn't press shift at all during my first run of the game

After watching the video explanation I got the idea and actually, I think is pretty creative and cool, so I tried my second run made more sense but still I found the controller pretty confusing about the camera movement between the 2 game modes. I really liked the idea and aesthetics

I like the vibes a lot, the character design, music, footsteps, wind sound, snow, walking animation - made it have a really cool ambience fr. The game did freeze my computer a bit when running it tho, and locked my mouse in the game so much that I had to close the browser to exit the game. I would appreciate it if you could check my game too, I do not have a lot of rates so far :)

the real aberration ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks a lot! I tried my best to make the game feel as polished as possible. I agree that having some unique mechanics would done it better, I'm just still pretty new to programming that kind of thing 😅

mind-blowing  as always, I love it

I enjoyed so much the visuals, had fun with the physics, and even tho the gameplay is simple I really enjoyed it, gave me a lot of vibes of games like Journey which I really like, congrats!

Thanks for playing! :)

I didn't expect a crash there 😳 I wonder what could it be, I don't have enough knowledge about virtual machines to make guess if that may be related 🤔

The game isn't perfect at all about the code anyways since I'm newbie to it 😆

Hi thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it :D

The original idea was make different types of enemies and maybe make the enemies to throw projectiles to the player, but very newbie to programming and working on a game engine so I just tried to polish what I had 😆

if I continue the game idea I would definitely work on the enemies and work on so many other things

hehehehe thanks

Tysm for playing! :D

amazing stuff 👍simple mechanics, crazy puzzles, I got stuck on this level, no idea how to deal with not-numbered blocks (for some reason attaching images is not working, I got stuck on the level that is only blocks I and II, in a closed area of blank squares)

I just wrote sins with the winer letters and numbers and I can't paste it here for some reason, this is so silly, amazing game :)

sins :)

Really clean game, I like it, congrats! :)

Gracias! En cuanto al arte trabajé con assets CC0 por primera vez, se me complicó mantener el arte consistente de esa forma, ya que  también es primera vez que participo en un jam solo. La música y programación si la hice desde cero. Gracias por jugar :)

Hi! I participated as a solo developer, I'm from Venezuela :)

I'll be updating this game within the next few hours (also the game description and web looks tomorrow)

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it, we didn't thought about checkpoints on time 😅 Thanks for playing! :)

I'm glad you liked it :) the music was done in half a day because I was rushing learning how to make the game to work 😅

I'm glad you liked it :)

Yes, those hotboxes definitely gonna have some improvement after the rating period 😅

Thank you for playing :)

I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing :)

Yooo thanks for the feedback :)

I also thought about what would be more intuitive for the climbing, if A and D, or W and S, or both (I guess it is a matter of playtesting with a lot of people), I went with the W and S option, so it was easier for me to use A and D for fall out of the walls on purpose without extra coding, a bit of laziness there 😆

About jumping very shortly when holding W and D, I didn't notice you are right, I see now the ant walks slower when holding W and D over holding only D, so when jumping the horizontal length of the jump is less (the jump height seems the same though)

I think it is because I used the new unity input system so (in my unexperienced opinion 😅) it seems to be optimized more for a top-down type of movement like when using a joystick, if you hold D the horizontal velocity is 1, but if you hold W and D the horizontal and vertical velocity are around 0.70~, which I think is the reason the ant walk slower when holding 2 buttons (I think that wouldn't happen in a 2D top-down game or a movement in a 3D space

About the save points you are totally right, I'll be working on implementing some checkpoints 😆
We also wanted to do more with the leaf but our inexperience and the time restriction were bigger issues this time 😅

I'm glad you liked the game and found those details, thank you for playing! :D

Yep the jumping can feel tricky sometimes, I know there were several stuff should have done to make it feel better, thanks for the feedback :D

Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed all the details :)
