Hi! I am making Final Escape 2 in Godot. The first public prototype is available for Windows, and today I uploaded a fix for the AI conversations.
Free download: https://drakonkat.itch.io/final-escape-2
You arrive in a village with a mystery to investigate. Instead of choosing dialogue options, you type your own questions to the villagers. You collect evidence and decide who to accuse. You can also describe an action to an AI Game Master.
Does asking anything make a detective game more interesting, or just more confusing? It is an early experiment, not a finished RPG, and I would like to find out with people who have never seen it.
The previous build had broken AI replies because of a provider integration problem. Please download the latest build, 6f531ad. If you already tried it and got stuck, sorry about that. Fix details: https://drakonkat.itch.io/final-escape-2/devlog/1659940/ai-conversation-fix-plea...
Windows download only, not a browser game. Internet is required for AI dialogue. To be open about the tools: it uses LLM dialogue, AI-generated graphics and audio, and AI-assisted code.
If you try 10-15 minutes, I would really appreciate one concrete example: a confusing clue, a strange reply, or the moment you did not know what to do next. No need to finish the case. This is an unpaid playtest, and feedback in English or Italian is welcome. Thanks!
